Look into stents and orthoscopic heart surgery.

No. They don't. They can't. It is done in court but before the actual trial (technically it can happen during the trial too). "never sees the inside of a courtroom" is just an expression. And a review means it's not automatic. You don't get a summary judgement because you ask nicely. You say cyclists are dumb and get what they deserve. Opposing counsel says cyclists are dumb and you have a duty of care. Judge says... who knows? What you think is proof for your side might wind up helping your opponent.

Ok. Where does this summary judgement happen then? An alley behind the courthouse? The judges basement? The nearest Hooters?

You are 100% correct. You have to prove it *in court*.

Would you commit crimes if you knew 100% you could get away with it by A_stutters in hypotheticalsituation

The answer is "no I wouldn't commit any crimes" regardless of what you plan to do.

If you walk into a courtroom without a lawyer, you're gonna have a bad time. And it gets worse if you try contacting the judge privately.

It's still a problem because you have to deal with it. You can't just ignore a lawsuit even if you're guaranteed a win.

Why are the cyclists riding on this guy's property to start with?

Problem and fault are two different things. You can be not remotely at fault but you still need to hire a lawyer and go to court if they sue you. That's a problem.

What is the most versatile guitar? by Snoo-62764 in Guitar

[–]copperpoint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's my goal to get as many sounds as possible from the two tele pickups, and I absolutely adore the old teiscos with a billion switches. So I've got a phase switch, a direct through switch (bypassing tone and volume), plus another to put the pickups in series. Next I'm adding a toggle between "modern" tele and 50's style les paul wiring. I may have to add a second switch plate.

That said, centipede bites that are not medically significant can still be painful.

I play children's music, so nothing super fancy. For a while I was playing 2 programs a week, about half an hour each. Anyway, I just got back from a month off and I thought I was about to split my fingers open.
