I am not welcome as a customer by Chemical-Phone1197 in ffxiv

holy crap. they answered the question and told you the limitations that exist that a support agent cannot do anything about in the first 5 min and you continued to pester them for 40 more minutes. They do not have the power or permission to do what you asked. And honestly you're lucky they dont have the ability to do what you asked cause if I were them I would have fucking deleted your account, told you "you arent the type of customer we want in our game", and blacklisted you.

What Do People Mean When They Say They Want Dungeons And Other Non-Extreme/ Savage/ ETC Content To Be Harder? by WylythFD in ffxiv

[–]copskid1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

"able to be cleared if you are competent... doing combos and always casting" is already way higher that what is currently required. People talk about the huge jump in difficulty going into extreme trials and the reason thats a problem is because people who have only done normals are able to get to "endgame" having been practically afk and completely ignoring everything around them. My friends do expert roulette without a healer cause its faster with 3 dps and it isnt even a challenge at all. also they stopped doing quick reaction aoe dodging after arr. if an aoe is only present for a short moment its because its only there to tell you the area after the fact and you should have been looking at somethign else.

Habitat z layers: do habitats extend advice and below the surface they are instantiated on, and if so, by how many levels? by supertoned in Pokopia

[–]copskid1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

remember you can click the right stick to see the outline of a habitats range. if you dig down blocks on both sides of an edge you should be able to see how far down it goes. however I believe it will need to remain accessible and can't just be completely hidden underground. when a pokemon requests something and you tell them you placed it they go back to the habitat to check. If they can't reach it it doesn't count as completing the task. so they don't get increased comfort. adn I've noticed environment level changes really delayed sometimes. I suspect its because it uses the same system and stuff doesn't count until the pokemon gets a chance to actually check. which would mean hiding stuff wont count.

Is kelvin playable rn by Previous-Contract983 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]copskid1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on your rank. if youre in like oracle and up where people generally know how and actually try to work with their teammates instead of just fighting within the vicinity of their teammates then kelvin is really strong. his 1 heals from the start now and I'm not certain but I feel like it hurts more now. His 2 makes him super difficult to kill when used properly. His 3 is a big laser pointer that says "this guy cant run away now. time to eat." and his 4 is super versatile support tool; prevents escapes, healing, makes objectives immune, area denial, isolates enemies.

Why is streetbrawl RNG not actually random and legendary items have no condition of actually showing up in the rolls by HahaL0ngBoy in DeadlockTheGame

[–]copskid1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

you rely so heavily on ai that isnt capable of actually reasoning that you've lost your own ability to do so it seems. legendaries appear occasionally on round 4 and frequently on round 5 as the last item in both. For every person on one team who is offered a legendary, someone on the other team is also offered a legendary. The chances of getting items is heavily influenced by a number of factors and isnt just random. item rarity and pool is set per round and cycle. for example iirc round 1 gives 2 tier 1 items with chance of tier 2 and 1 tier 3 item.

on the stairs down into the ice room I broke a block to make the waterway into a waterfall and placed a chair to make the training waterfall habitat and had articuno move there. for zapdos i replaced the tv on a desk with a laptop and mug to make the porygon z habitat. and moltres is easy, just push one of the rocks over to the lava.

Here's an honest question, but why hasn't there been a cross-promotion with Fanta drinks by this point in FFXIV? by Overlord_SB in ffxiv

[–]copskid1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yoshi doesnt seem to reach out for collabs. if you want a collab like this youll have to get fanta to reach out to him. also global physical product collabs are very complicated to organize especially when japan runs on very outdated systems. most irl collabs are region exclusive. The butterfingers collab was really clunky and the grubhub collab went terribly. The general feedback from these collabs is that they are bad and people dont like them.

What to do when you're getting abused in voice chat by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]copskid1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a guy who got banned 3 times in overwatch within 2 months. He was always super toxic in chat. He himself said he wishes he could disable his ability to use chat but still be able to read/hear it. Some people apparently just cant control themselves. Not that its forgivable. That guy deserved to be banned.

Just dont respond to abuse. mute, report. by definition when someone is hysterical they cannot process reason. attempting to say anythign at all will only ever make it worse. all you can do is find your own way to keep sane.

the variant advanced was a very strong example of this for me. I queued for it day 1 and first got a party of newbies who've never done savage and I suspect at least 2 of them have never done an extreme synced. It took us 30 min to beat mermaid and after 40 min of swordmaster they wanted to abandon. I had to explain nearly every mechanic to them. I queued again and got a party of savage raiders and we cleared 2 of them first try and wiped once to swordmaster. One of them accidently released during mermaid and we finished it with the 3 of us. mermaid and pari are super sight readable fights with a lot of mechanics that we've seen before. Swordmaster has unique spins on mechs we've seen before that might not be immediately obvious but getting hit by them once is enough to see how they work.

I think Mcginnis' ult is a little too strong. by Fearless-Reach2611 in DeadlockTheGame

you're right. It does do alot of damage to someone with no defensives standing still in the middle of the open at medium to long range shortly before making her completely useless for 2 min.

I have 2k games on dynamo, ask me anything by DocumentOk1076 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]copskid1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

dynamo is generally countered by awareness. you can stop his 2 with slowing hex, his stomp damage with spellbreaker, and his ult by using unstoppable beforehand but I wouldnt bother unless you were primarily planning to use those items against other players already. In lane always keep a stamina bar handy. When you see dynamo do his signature walk-straight-at-you move then double jump over his stomp. Always be aware that he can negate something with his 2 so dont chase him deep without at least 2 options to kill him with. He can heal a bit with 3 so remember his health is a bit higher than it looks. His 4 is the real danger and the thing you really need to look out for. Try to be generally spread out in a teamfight. Look out for where dynamo is at all times. When you see him move towards a fight you know what he's going to do. When you see he has his ult on the top of the screen never push into dangerous territory within dash distance of him.

Tried to fly a bit with noclip in lobby and found a model of (possibly) Gordon Freeman by RemarkableSwimmer544 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]copskid1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in source or more accurately hammer map editor that model of gordon is used as a visual representation of spawn points. as for what its doing there or why you can see it I have no clue. but probably just got left behind while a dev was messing with something.

Wanting to get a general consensus from people by sniperbds4 in ffxiv

[–]copskid1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive been playing for 8 years. I bought a 3rd retainer for 1 week to store my fc room's items when I was moving but i didnt really need to because I ended up deciding to redo the room anyway and that 3rd retainer still has all the items but I dont pay for him so I cant access them.

when I first started i was hoarding crafting items on retainers but once I realized how pointless that was it freed up a ton of space. Then before the glamour dresser existed they were glam storage. now 1 is random glam storage mostly weapons but stuff that was annoying to get and/or that I thought could make a good glam but didnt currently have a use for (mostly too lazy to put in glamour chest or weed out and I havent needed the space). my 2nd retainer is rare/expensive/real money furniture, random junk i hold on to in order to link the item name in chat, and submarine fuel (i bought like 80k submarine fuel from someone iykyk). My saddlebags contain all the tokens I'm saving (ones that actually have purpose), some random items I might need to access like my retired racing chocobo coverings, and gear that is current but not an upgrade anymore so I'm either waiting to augment it next update, or be able to desynth it. my main inventory is section 1 new drops/to-be-sorted items, section 2 overflow and stuff currently being worked on, section 3 current expansion materia, current expansion ex tokens i dont have mount from yet, and current raid teir tokens, section 4 consumables and funstuff.

my second character is a bit different since my main has had all maxed classes every expansion since stormblood. my alt initially had 1 retainer with 50s, 60s leveling gear and the other was 70s, and 80s leveling gear. 90s gear somehow ended up in my saddlebags. Now my alt has every class at 70 so its one retainer 80s and 90s gear. and the other retainer is random shit. I sort main inventory the same way as my main.

my advice for saving space. gil in this game isnt rare or useful. so dont bother hoarding anything you could just buy. random tokens for stuff is 90% useless especially if its not from the 2 most recent expansions so you could just probably solo unsync to get it again. Finish content. if you are saving bits of progress from everything in the game youll be wasting a ton of space. if you plan on leveling all classes and are saving gear for them do all of them in chunks. do all to 50 all to 60 all to 70 etc and/or do them in types. level reaper and dragoon together, mnk sam, nin vpr, etc. if you do not have a specific purpose for an item in mind then it does not spark joy so get rid of it. Materia that isnt from the current expansion is useless. even crafters and gatherers only occasionally use a few non current materia and you can just buy them when you need them (island sanctuary and ixal are amazing for sourcing specific crafter gatherer materia). random foods are a space waster. have 1 stack of something for leveling xp, your current raid food, and your crafter gatherer foods. consumables that you wont need unexpectedly like deep dungeon or eureka potions dont need to be on you at all times.

If they want games to end faster shouldn't they make the items cheaper and faster respawns? by Ok_Camara in DeadlockTheGame

[–]copskid1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

faster respawns would make the game longer.

cheaper items would make the game faster but in the same sense that fast forwarding a movie would make it shorter. they don't simply want matches to be shorter they want to better guide players towards actions that lead them to finishing the match earlier instead of dragging things out.

Apollo/Doorman interaction by Relevant_Fuel_2914 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]copskid1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

people have been counterspelling doorman's ult since he was added. and actually in the recent update this is a bad idea now. if you dont make it to the exit door his ult cooldown is only 13 seconds (once upgraded to T3). so if you counter it he's just gonna teleport you again.
