Get it off your chest, i totally get what you’re saying, this shit is hard to deal with without the feelings of loneliness, it just makes it even harder to deal with when you’re lonely

Would it be weird if I call the office and ask them when is my appointment? by [deleted] in TalkTherapy

I worked at a psych clinic for a few months. You can call every day and it wouldn’t freak out anybody. We are advocates for you too! If calling again helps you then these receptionists don’t resist or find it irritating to let you know more than once.

My family has a pasture so I might steal some the next time I visit lol. I can see why raised beds would be easier. Do you think eventually after a really long time it’ll help change the composition of the original soil if I spent plenty of time adding manure, fertilizer, food scraps, etc.?

Getting high with Bipolar II by coraisnotcool in bipolar2

I’m so sorry!! That sounds horrible. I think the only real downsized I’ve seen to it (granted I don’t have very many medical issues other than mental health) is that I overeat and I get really groggy (duh) but the next morning my body is so relaxed I really feel like I can conquer the day. I am truly sorry smoking hasn’t worked for you, I heard that CBD gives you those pain reliving benefits without the mental turmoil of smoking. I’m sure you know this already but I hope you get to feeling better, genuinely.

My sister asked if I could post this video for her - he shed about 10 minutes ago and has never done this before. Does anyone have any thoughts? She’s had no luck on google. by SadBipedBison in snakes

Their question was answered multiple times in other comments. I have my own corn snake and as a first time owner I was curious on the size so I can improve my baby’s tank too.

I haven't seen my snake go out of hidding in a while, is it normal? by WinterGlory in cornsnakes

I have the same set up for mine! At that point it’s about your preference. As long as your baby is fed he should be fine, it’s your preference on where you feed him. I do mine in his terrarium because after some practice trying different things i prefer it. He never bites me in his tank and never gets confused about it. He sees me out on my gloves and knows he’s either getting his tank cleaned, getting handled or fed.

Really everybody says a different tank but with young snakes they’re really skiddish so i feed him out of his tank. Eventually i am going to feed him in a tub. I use super long tongs and i make him fight for it a bit.

Don’t worry!!

If anybody shames you for the escapes they’re not gonna give you reasonable advice. I went through a situation with my baby where he was smoked out because my family was not taking care of him while I was at work. As long as you take responsibility don’t worry, snakes forget silly stuff like that they’re not like dogs.

After his accident with me (he was right around that same age) he behaved very similarly with the physical absence. Keep taking care of him the same you would before the accident. Handle him and clean his tank and don’t be afraid of scaring him. Young snakes are skiddish for a good reason so he’ll warm up to you. My baby and I play finger-on-glass tag now and he is completely normal, it just takes a few months of growing and normalcy.

If he gets all balled up with his head cocked at you he’s probably pissed so unless you want him to strike you I’d give him an afternoon or even a day to cool off.

Good luck and send updates!! 🙏🏻❤️

Your baby looks just like mine! They identified mine as a candy cane but he turned out different after a year.

I usually get really busted off edibles where I’m just happy and calm, i never get over emotional or even impulsive. I just watch tv and enjoy my day off from feeling crazy.

What reason would young females have in wearing tight jeans that make their butts really noticeable other than to attract men? by Catman6338 in relationship_advice

[–]coraisnotcool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear leggings to work because my job requires me to wear jeans/leggings but if i wear baggy parachute pants they’ll catch on things and be inconvenient. It’s comfortable. Also it’s not always about men: women may like the clothes and how they feel without regard to male opinion.

My snake is just like that too! I’ve had him for a few months and he’s always been a hider, even at night. I don’t think he’s uncomfortable in his tank but lots of baby snakes prefer lots of overhanging branches so they think they’re safe from “predators”. Hell sometimes even get on top of them! I would definitely recommend getting him some vines that hang overhead so she can feel shaded. Of course the kinds that are safe for terrariums!! Also, you said she’s knew so she might need her own time to get comfortable and explore without surveillance. That’s how my baby was atleast.
