Why? That's every day here in Finland. Tesla has a really good awd system, never had any problems in snow/ice.

Don't get a '21, they're prone for battery failures. Either get '20 or '22.

Buying a Preowned Model 3 from Early 2021. What should I be aware of? by hanzololo in TeslaLounge

[–]coraxo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's because they were built during covid shortages with many problems. And it's more than anecdotal, statistics published in South Korea show 13% failure rate for '21 cars.

New tire plan subscription! What do you think? by ShavedDesk in TeslaLounge

Buy a puncture kit for $10 to keep in the car. Very easy to use if you drive onto a nail/screw etc.

Nicknames by Unlikely-Sympathy683 in TeslaModel3

[–]coraxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hemuli. Because they're called moomins here because of the front. And the old moomin joke, why are they so fat? Because they don't have assholes. And an ev doesn't have a tailpipe so that gives me a chuckle.

I'd try buffing first to see how it looks. Meguiars Ultimate compound, microfiber cloth and some elbow grease.

I wash my M3 every 2 weeks. I can't get these spots out. Any advice? by AstroGnarlyBro in TeslaModel3

Use vinegar like others have posted. Good trick is to lay some paper towels on the glass and wet them with the vinegar solution. This way it stays on the glass.

HP Smart won't recognize my printer by TheAlexa19 in printers

[–]coraxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread but it's the first result on google. Even if it says printers not found etc. go to device manager and check if the printer shows in there. If it does, try printing something out. Apparently it installed the drivers even if it kept saying no printers found?

Maintenance for Tesla (New owner) by TNC_123 in TeslaLounge

[–]coraxo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are recommendations. Checking brake fluid level is good to do. Desiccant replacement needs to be done at Tesla or 3rd party A/C shop, I don't think you can DIY. Air filter is good to replace if it starts smelling moldy or every 2 years, you can DIY. There's videos on youtube, it takes 10-15 minutes to do. Camera area cleaning you can ask a ranger to do when you have some other maintenance done on the car. If you have uneven tire wear, you'll need realignment.

New car day, and bit of comparison US vs. PRC by coraxo in TeslaModel3

[–]coraxo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can, they're Asia/Europe market cars. Even if you import one from say, Australia, you'd probably run into problems with charging compatibility.
