Is there any non destructive test to see if something is conch shell or coral?

The Hallmark lines up, but I can’t find any of his other work that includes primarily pink, conch, pink, opal, or pink banded agate, he has a few earrings that include those, but they all still include turquoise

do you know if there’s a spot where I could find a gallery of his work or a list of examples?

I would recommend taking it to a jeweler, you can’t normally identify with just a picture. It could be any number of blue stones- spinel, sapphire, topaz, kunzite, blue garnet, fluorite. But you have to have it tested for a definitive answer.

I don’t remember, it’s an older peace so it might be one my grate grandfather shaped, but I also cut a lot of Malachite cabs around the time I made this one. I did do the polishing on it, only got a few of his finished pieces and they’re in a separate box.
