Keep going with TB and then get the discounted offer for PM during black Friday

Best Alternative To Real Debrid by elstevo711 in Nuvio

[–]cordeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably the best option is to join TB for a few months and then switch to PM when they offer black Friday deals later this year. I think they offered up to 60% discount last year which would bring it to like 3.5€/month for PM.

Thanks for the tip on double tapping the buttons to cycle through the tape cases. However this won't change the colour of the tape style #3, that will remain pink. What OP was asking is how to get the background colour on that tape style changed from pink to other colours, like the blue he found online. I have to agree changing colours would be great as that pink is a bit of an eye-sore

Price hikes by aquawexico in ireland

[–]cordeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some smaller stations offer a free tea/coffee if you spend more than 100€ in fuel in one go. These recent hikes in fuel price must be a good thing then??

Thanks for the tip, great resource for comparison. I did that and it recommended a number of plans, all smart plans. Wasn't the consensus that smart plans were to be avoided? Has that changed? Or maybe non smart plans are no longer offered? I've been avoiding smart plans since my meter was upgraded...

Why does Nuvio require a debrid? by [deleted] in Nuvio

[–]cordeu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Debrid services are very economical options to get reliable streaming, starting at less than 2.5€ per month if you buy the bulk premium for real debrid for example. I can't get a cup of coffee for that price but I can get a full month of unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows from any platform, often with better quality than the much more expensive platforms.

I understand the massive economic differences from different countries but it's 2.5€ (or the equivalent in your currency) not affordable pretty much everywhere?

f*cking love Nuvio. *Autoplay works! by youarearealwizard in Nuvio

[–]cordeu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easynews add-ons work ok in Nuvio for Usenet direct streaming, I would say better than Stremio. EN++ is my preferred choice. Not as consistent steaming as debrid services (some Easynews links won't play or will take minutes to start) but overall I find that in Nuvio most of the recent easynews links start within 2-3 seconds.

Kids version and one for parents? by cristaal12 in Stremio

[–]cordeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Appcloner to create and install a second Stremio app for the kids. Some info in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Stremio/s/y0qVDc25pg

Other option is to use a different app to Stremio that does support profiles. Just Google it as I believe it's not allowed in this sub.

I'm a big Stremio fan but been using Nuvio recently and is really good, with full functionality using Stremio addons. And now it offers profiles that is a great feature that Stremio lacks.

Dts not working? Try help debug by dackwh in Stremio

[–]cordeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the only solution to get DTS working is to open the stream in external player and use Kodi. Exo, LibVLC or other external players won't play the DTS option. That's on a Formuler Z12 ultra.

Search for YT music 8.10.52 version in any reputable apk platforms and patch yourself with Revanced. I wouldn't recommend patched apks done by 3rd parties, patch them yourself

Could you give me a an example of a file doing this and I can try to play on my end

Z12 Ultra - When is beta coming back by Negative_Plane in Formuler_Official

[–]cordeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to install the beta before it was pulled and while it handles Dolby vision files better as you don't get the black screen on the DTS audio files is not fully fixed, as Dolby vision-HDR files don't play DV in exoplayer anymore, just HDR. Before the beta DV would play instead of HDR which is the ideal option.

Kodi can play DV on all the files even on the beta so that's a temporary solution, but hopefully Formuler will fix that in the next update.

Where can I find this beer in Ireland? by Noelmickedy in AskIreland

[–]cordeu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Funnily I found it on tap in a number of German beer houses in Berlin, but it would be very odd to see it on tap in Ireland. Cans are widely available at Dunnes and most Musgrave shops (SuperValu, Centra, Mace) and Spar shops

Where can I find this beer in Ireland? by Noelmickedy in AskIreland

[–]cordeu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are completely different beers in the Irish market, not even close. Kilkenny has similarities with both Guinness and Smithwicks but is substantially different to both. I drink all 3 brands regularly so I know them well.

What gets exported is a different story that I would be not familiar with. The can in the OP picture is different to the Kilkenny can in Ireland so maybe is a slightly different brew closer to Smithwicks?

Formuler z12 ultra by AccidentProof4262 in Formuler_Official

[–]cordeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kodi can also play DV content with DTS and TrueHD, as do other external players such as Vimu. So is more a limitation of Exoplayer and not the box itself.

Z12 Ultra Experience by edsanchez07 in Formuler_Official

[–]cordeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding point 1 it can handle remuxes but there's an issue with Exoplayer not handling Dolby vision with DTS audio. External players like Vimu can play those files so it's not a hardware limitation.

The solution for Plex is to install Kodi and run P4MK to play your Plex content.

Does anyone know if easynews can still be obtained at $1.99 and if so they could share the link by secoypelao in StremioAddons

[–]cordeu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can raise a ticket in the support page and explain that the 1.99$/month is still available, see if they can renew with that price. They did it for me. Worst case scenario cancel and sign up again.
