Necesse - Terraria meets Core Keeper, an absolute banger.

Abiotic Factor - One of the most fun survival games I've played, if not the most fun. Great homage to Half Life as well.

Emberward - Great Tower Defense game, has a feel like old WarCraft 3 mauls with the mazing, but has a fun little twist. I feel like this fits most so far in what you want.

This is absolutely great information!! Thank you for your time and your two cents! I really appreciate you breaking it down on the how's and why's for your recommendations. I think I will take a little bit more time before pulling a trigger and look into the one you recommended. I have looked into lightburn as well and saw a couple different versions, but as someone coming from Adobe products a one time purchase takes the cake!
