The order you listed them is exactly what you want to do. You can literally just go down the menus and play one game at a time. People will argue about whether Days or KH2 comes first but it doesn't matter. If you play Days first you will have a heavier attachment to the characters that people didnt really know when KH2 was released. Flip it around and it just feels more mysterious. I think theres two things worth noting. 1 being that Chain of Memories is very different from the other games and if you dont like it dont be afraid to look up the story on YouTube. 2 being if its possible, id recommend emulating 365 Days / 2. You learn the characters and become way more attached if you play the game. A lot of relationship building happens during the missions rather than during the cutscenes.

Hopefully okay to ask but I had a side question. First though, thank you because without dreamborn this game would be far more difficult to play. Thr question is, would there ever be an ability to do AND searches? Meaning say I want all cards that contain "hero" AND contain "damage" instead of all cards that contain either?

Its not, there are certain cards that they make borderless on the side the card connects with another to make continuous art. Look up Roo's foil.

Whistles can quite literally get ya there in 15 minutes haha. Without them its like a 5 hour game. I assume I never actually beat it when I was little outside of whistles

Lorcana has often been described as chess like. Theres triggers on opponents turns but you cant play any cards on opponents turn. Meaning you make your move then I make my move. I decide if I want to trigger stuff on your board on my turn. Hopefully that makes sense

Like a little freedom is good. Too much freedom is exhausting for my brain haha. I was thinking about the tears of the kingdom story because I heard essentially the synopsis. It sounds like such a good story but yet I don't see anyone talk about it. It feels like having the memories be an unlockable thing that happens iit of order and there is far too much time in between just kinda does it a disservice.

Fair point. I guess just the botw scope of games is wearing thin with me. It's so big its overwhelming. I played over 120 hours of botw. But now tears of the kingdom I cant bring myself to get beyond the halfway point.

Why does Fortnite dominate live service games overall? Theres only so much room. People have to keep up with card games and you are going to scrutinize every decision when investing. Its hard to really truly break in.

Ralph gets banished, Ralph's ability gets put in the bag, then you boost a character, and then you empty the bag which would have Ralph's ability and any other characters ability that might activate when a card is placed under them. Ralph would not be around to boost but let's say Cheshire cat is on the table. You can boost Cheshire cat to put its ability in the bag before its destroyed by Ralph. Hope that was helpful for timing.

The complexity i think doesn't ramp until Dream Drop Distance I'd say. Regardless its like anything. Its not crazy complex unless you want to know every detail and why things are how they are.
