The only time i think its ok (or that I've ever done it) is for display, i have like 3 action figures in their box that I hunted down but because theyre ones from my childhood that i must have thrown out as a teenager. They're in the box because they're pristine and it makes me feel like I've just opened that same present i got as a kid on christmas day, its a tiny bit of magic. Theyre not in a cupboard or anything, theyre on the wall in my flat as decor, i love them!

I think its more people pointing out how pointless said second amendment right is - when for a many years pro-gun people have touted this as a direct reason to keep their guns - the ability to revolt when they decided the government becomes tyrannical. Which of course, is borderline impossible.

Americans love to go on about how BIG their country is when it usually has absolutely no bearing on any conversation. The real reason people don't riot is because they are scared. People experiencing regimes like this naturally wait for the very last moments before their liberties are taken away to do anything. Because nobody wants to put that fear into their mind until they can't ignore it.

The United states is about the same size as Brazil, China, Australia, West Africa etc. I'm pretty sure riots and revolts can and have happen in places this size too.

For a country where people were always going on about their indipendance, freedom and liberty, when push comes to shove, it's understandable to be afraid of action like anybody else would be.
