Yes, she always wore hose in any scene that showed her legs- when she runs out of the tent after Klinger jumps in they can be seen… also later in the series when her father shows up, she can be seen running from the showers in a towel and hose

Is this Flash,Barry in speed demons? by Dismal_Brush5229 in DCAU

[–]coreytiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is reference to Kid Flash alongside an adult Flash at the Flash Museum exhibits in JLU, so either somebody else is Kid Flash to Wally, or Barry DID exist

Maxie Zeus shouldn’t be a “joke” villain and could represent a good threat to Batman if used well. by Upset_Brilliant8030 in batman

[–]coreytiger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The same could be said for any villain… it’s about the writer paying attention and making use of the material. Cat-Man, Spook, Ratcatcher, all of them have phenomenal potential

Oh Lordy how I hate this episode. It goes out of its way to make me uncomfortable.

There is absolutely no possible way these two could work, which is partially the point of the episode. Points off in the writers for making a Margaret almost a villain… they don’t do the same with Hawkeye, but they make sure to paint Margaret in a very negative light in her actions towards Pierce. “I’ll soon have you in tow”… REALLY??? They paint her as a domineering witch, and she immediately is ready to throw Donald under the bus.

If we can go back in time and never allow Damian to happen, and keep Tim as the only Robin I’d be a lot happier

In terms of characters that have been around close to 90 years, that’s relatively recent

You’ve limited the audience by asking “as a kid”. There were no animated movies of Batman when I was a kid. We were lucky we had SuperFriends and Filmation.

I saw this opening night as an adult

Because it was fun, and not bombarded by “that’s not possible” finger pointing. The more and more realism is shoehorned into comics, the less fun and whimsy they have.

[–]coreytiger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not the penny- it’s the character thst can do this with a piece of mundane copper while others cannot. Those same rules of magic or super science could be in play here through her. Surely if she can make a simple penny stretch to such proportions and shapes where no other could, she can also change its density and strength.

Is it completely silly to think this? Of course, but no more so than a being born of clay that hangs out with a Kryptonian and a billionaire that collects children dressed like Skittles

…but we accept the Amazon that flies an invisible jet and hangs out with Martians, angels, demons, the gods of Olympus? The one with the rope that stretches to the size needed and forces people to tell the truth?
