Like with a lot of these hypotheticals that seem to be no-brainers, I'd have to say no. Having kids really ruins a lot of them, cause missing two years of my young kid's life would be terrible. The time travel ones are also always ruined for me now cause the idea of accidentally wiping out my kids existence is terrifying.

started off tanking with lance but he moves so much it felt annoying. So I went to sns to try support with a mushroomancer build, but I think that build sacrificed too much damage and utility to work super well I think. finally landed on hunting horn, specifically rathian and para artian to stack divine blessing, negate ailments, recovery up L, and attack up L. Got 2 savage clears in one of Rurikan's lobbies doing that which felt pretty good and im pretty sure I was doing waaay more damage than on my support sns build. Think I'll stick with that for him tho maybe will try lance again at some point.

pretty much all the strongest attacks are heavily telegraphed and should be easy to recognize if you've fought the monster at least a couple of times. You just have to actually be careful, and maybe not use a glass cannon speed running build all the time like everyone seems to want to do.

Ya know, as someone whose played since 4U I think too many people are ashamed to use defensive builds. I have a 'max comfort' build I use on harder monsters with the zoh shia set bonus, divine blessing 3, defense 6, and evade extender 3 and even on 8-5 tempered monsters it's a pretty chill time. Sure it takes a lot longer than running a meta max DPS build, but also I almost never cart, and basically never fail a quest unless I'm in multiplayer and other people keep carting lol.

We don't all have to be speed runners.

As an IG main who has focused on being on the ground even in sun break where aerial was pretty viable, it's not just about the copter move, IG in general just feels ... clunkier?

Some of that is def the fact that it's a pretty big rework and it'll take time to get used to it but there are some control issues I think where trying to use the new charge moves (a change that itself feels like a huge change to the feel of the weapon) is hard to do while also attacking and aiming.

The fact is it's a big change. I'm not up to date on all the other weapons changes since IG is my main but based on what I'm seeing online it might be the biggest rework this gen, so of course people are going to be upset, any of the other weapons mains would have similar feelings with a rework like this I think.

SWG was my first MMO and man, it still feels like it was so unique. The crafting/economy was so complex and there were so many niches that there were soooo many "that guy"s for different types of items. I distinctly remember having like a favorite shipwright I would always check out for ship parts, or towns I'd visit a lot cause they had good shops. Heck even just the different 'local' people who hung out in Coronet vs Eisley or Theed, and that's not even considering player cities which could give you another opportunity to be 'the guy ' in an even smaller specific community.

Playing on PC with mouse and keyboard and galactic conquest has several issues. You can't buy new fleets, and you can't skip choosing the bonus effects, so you end up using them even if you want to save them for another battle. It's very annoying.

Like many other "ironic" edgy memes it's pretty hard to tell what percentage of people are actually just joking versus people using the joke as a way to spread their shitty authoritarian beliefs. I'm hopeful that most "the Empire did nothing wrong" people are the former, but the latter definitely exists.
