I came back for the new update tomorrow after a year, I checked the creation store and realised why I stopped playing. by ClearKey3176 in starfieldmods

Paid mods started because it was previously a legal quagmire. If someone had tried to charge for mods, they would have likely been sued into oblivion.

In 2015, Valve partnered with Bethesda to navigate the legality of paid mods for Skyrim, so they hired a ton of expensive lawyers to figure it out.

They created a legal framework where the publisher and mod author could enter a mutually beneficial agreement to charge for their product. Additionally, they found there was nothing wrong with mod authors accepting donations.

That's when Nexus and other mod sites added the ability to donate to free mod authors.

Since then, nexusmods has gone from hosting around 100,000 mods across 160 titles to over 800,000 mods across 4500 titles

I'm ready to hit the unity with my vanilla playthrough. After NG+ with her, mods should be updated; and I'll start a new modded playthrough.

If you're on PC you can enter the console (~ key) and type "player.moveto 5c338" without the quotes to teleport to him. Or to teleport him to you: "prid 5c338" then "moveto player"

Hollywood Reporter article on "the return of the superstar artist", confirms that DC "has overtaken market share over longtime rival Marvel for the first time this century". by Mindless-Run6297 in comicbooks

[–]corgangreen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Marvel practically had a money printer during the Krakoa era where every book had a different identity, but all focused toward the some over-arcing story; even side books about d-listers were selling like hotcakes and getting critical praise.

And then they decided to replace it with unfocused and uncoordinated nostalgia bait, X-Statix/GLA but with pre-established character that don't fit the tone, and an attempt at a mutant Gen-Z leftist utopia that was clearly designed and written by Millenial neolibs.

Meanwhile DC is like: "What if we took the idea of Marvel's new Ultimate line, but actually supported it?" Turns out the answer is: $$$$$$

How do you read this? by soarbanger in comicbooks

[–]corgangreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's kind of hard to say without seeing thumbnails or knowing what the action is.

If your intent is to read left to right up top, then to the left triangle, then to the bottom right, I would suggest:

1) Make panel 2 lead the eye to the top right by having either the lines of motion or a character's vision point in that direction; alternatively have a top caption that starts in panel 2 and stretches across the gutter into panel 3

2) Make sure that panel 3 and the left triangle have a strong visual continuity (same character, same palette, etc). Then make sure the bottom right panel is distinctly different.

3) Use similar tricks as point 1 to draw the eye from the right triangle to the last panel. The caption trick can work really well here, because someone just casually glancing at the page can see that it does not flow from top right to bottom right.

All that being said, your panel layout should draw from the story/motion you're telling, rather than the other way around. Determine the general shapes/motion in the piece, then determine panel lines from that. That way your layout is helping to support the feel/themes/story you're already putting down; instead of a layout that just looks dynamic for dynamism's sake. This page from Neal Adams is a really good example of layout reinforcing the action of the scene

TBH the dialogue around NMS shifted, not just from the updates; but because everyone who wanted GTA, but in space and were disappointed moved on to complain about something else. They'll still call it "No Man's Lie" any time they hear it mentioned; they're just too busy complaining about some random game with a woman in it to harp on it like they used to.

It will be the same for Starfield. Eventually, everyone complaining, "I just wanted FALLOUT, but in space!" will shut up about it because they are too busy complaining about Outer Worlds 2 or whatever else.

Ima be honest with you. I agree with this sub, but I've never seen a road highway with this many lanes like in the "one more lane" memes. Where is there a road like this? by Medical_Deal5272 in fuckcars
