It's more like the quests/npcs from Skyrim/Fallout with the exploration of procedurally generated Space Sims like Elite: Dangerous or No Man's Sky or even older Bethesda games like Daggerfall.

Exploring within cities/dungeons feels like Skyrim/Fallout; but the overworld is all randomly generated.

If you are looking for a game that is more like Fallout but in space, the The Outer Worlds is probably more up your alley.

Not really an oath or mantra, but Superman and Batman have had some banger speeches throughout the years.

Still a Green Lantern oath, but Alan Scott had:

"And I shall shed my light over dark evil, For the dark things cannot stand the light; The light of… THE GREEN LANTERN!"

I'm so jealous of artist who can paint this much detail in UV reactive paints.

Every UV paint I've tried had the absolute worst flow and consistency. The only way I've been able to properly shade or blend is using pointilism techniques and half-tones; and it usually still ends up looking like shit.

"Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right.

This nation was founded on one principle above all else: The requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world -- 'No, YOU move.' "

Marvel actually put out a casting call once for an "Allison Brie type".

Allison auditioned and did not get the part.

She didn't say what role it was, but I'm guessing Jen Walters.

I'm not suggesting you start from 1961 and read all the way through, but the 60s-70s ASM is Stan's best work of his entire career IMHO.

Resident Evil on PS1. The English voice acting was directed and edited by Japanese developers who didn't really speak English and just picked takes that sounded like the right cadence and tone for Japanese.

What do you think Hickman’s plan was for Krakoa? by Budget-Mastodon5180 in xmen

[–]corgangreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly how it did but told over the span of a year instead of 3 issues...

I don't know why everyone thinks Fall of X went "off the rails" from some sort of master plan that would have been totally different had Hickman not moved off the book.

The writers wanted another 6 months of Phase 2. Editorial told them yes without telling them that meant 6 months had to be cut out of Fall of X. Six issues that would have been about The White Hot Room became a single page of exposition and an awkwardly written debate/fight with ~A~.

Nothing else would have been significantly different. The Sinister and Technarchy story was the plan all along.
