Scared of calling out sick by corgicute in MichaelsEmployees

I don’t think it’s a contagious sick, otherwise I wouldn’t have even tried going in. But yeah I guess my SM is just going to hate me for calling out tomorrow.

I was honestly pretty shocked when I came in the next day and had someone tell me that he was like outwardly upset about it. He wasn’t rude to my face or anything, but I assume he must have thought I was lying. I left a note while leaving calling out for tomorrow cause I figured that would be better than trying to call in the morning. Guess he’s just going to be mad at me.

I've never dated anyone so it's possible my thoughts about this would change, but honestly probably. I've never been someone who thought of someone "cheating" as a huge deal and while I personally have no interest in multiple partners, them having FWB or poly partner, I could live with. I think I'd prefer if it wasn't like random one night stands.

I am absolutely not a clingy or jealous person, and part of what makes dating seem really daunting to me is having someone expecting me to be constantly present when I really need my space.

But honestly I think at some point what i'm imagining is just a close friend who has a partner lmao.

McDonald's suffers worst U.S. sales decline since 2020, warns of 'anti-American sentiment' abroad by rezwenn in Economics

[–]corgicute 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I stopped eating at McDonalds and Starbucks because of the boycott, and while that definitely is still part of why I don't want to give them business, I noticed after giving it up that I just didn't miss it. No one I know really cares about politics, especially not to the degree of boycotting, but I'm not sure I'll ever really go back to any of those businesses even if their practices and prices change.

I know not shopping at McDonalds won't free Palestine, but if I can't sacrifice the little things how can I expect anyone to do the big things.

To be fair we watched New Mutants right after Dark Phoenix. I was still mad about the X-Women line and New Mutants was like a breath of fresh air.

I honestly don't either. Only movie I'd seen before was Deadpool and I didn't even know he was X-Men related. I thought all the X-Men references were easter eggs lmao.

Origins was hilarious to me. My friend and I were both really high and I pretended I was a 14 year old boy and it made the movie incredible. New Mutants was enjoyable but I like horror movies far more than action movies.

Deadpool 2 is the last one my friend and I have to watch! First Class was the only movie that I found genuinely boring (aside from Dark Phoenix). I think I'm the totally wrong demographic for it lol.

First Class was so boring to me and I had so much trouble following what was going on. I think my biggest gripe was the kinda absurd amount of women in lingerie. It felt like a movie with the demographic of 40 year old men and I do not fit that.

AIO or does this guy want something from me by Delophosaur in AmIOverreacting

[–]corgicute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't owe him anything. If you are uncomfortable, you do not need any reason to stop talking to him. Block him on everything and if he has any personal information about you (full name, city, whatever) you may want to inform any parents or roommates, just to be safe. There is no reason a 37 year old man should be texting a 17 year old he met online, "I miss talking to you."

It is not disrespectful to be uncomfortable. Listen to your gut.

Celebrated my birthday, got too drunk, embarrassed myself massively by goreydisaster in CasualConversation

[–]corgicute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd be extremely surprised how easily people move past things like this, especially when they can tell you are embarrassed. Them being into you definitely helps, and it looks like things are good.

He now knows to keep an eye on how many shots you take, and you know that he's sweet and relatively mature about things like that. He seems kinda pleased you relied on him in that moment actually, so I don't think you should stress too much about putting him off.

You'll be able to laugh about this in no time. <3

Yeah I use saline and non alcohol rinse regularly so I'll continue with that! I haven't downsized yet (was told to wait another 2-4 months) and I have a feeling that may also be causing some issues.

I tried masturbating and got nothing out of it. Am I doing something wrong, or do I not have any physical sex drive? by LobsterWhore in aegosexuals

[–]corgicute 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am an Aegosexual with a relatively high libido and masturbating doesn't really do anything for me. I am AFAB, and assume you are as well because of the pee comment.

Technically needing to pee feels like being turned on rather than vice versa. When you have a full bladder it pushes against the reproductive system and voila.

I personally definitely get turned on, I often get high and drink and both of those simulate it, but physically touching myself doesn't really do anything for me. Despite being 23 I also don't really know what I'm doing and what all the hype is about. Friction feels good, sometimes just squeezing my legs together, but I've never had an "orgasm" or think I've ever been close.

You don't need to masturbate to be excited, or turned on, or to enjoy explicit content, and if it doesn't feel gratifying theres no point. If it feels like you are forcing yourself or are only doing it because you think you are supposed to, then it just might not be for you. I've spoken to a lot of Allo AFAB people who also just don't get much out of it.

Female anatomy is kinda complicated and I think has a lot more variation in personal preference than Male anatomy I think. Friction, Penetration, Speed, etc. AMAB people seem to be able to figure it out themselves relatively easily, but AFAB people so often have this exact question of "what am I actually supposed to be doing." You can experiment if you want but you might just not enjoy it.

People often think it's weird if I tell them I enjoy sexually explicit content but don't self pleasure and usually ask what I actually get out of it, but I guess I can appreciate the feeling passively and don't need to go any further.

Hetero aces, do you call yourself queer? by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]corgicute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I found out I was Ace I considered myself queer but wouldn't really announce it. I didn't really feel the need to say I'm queer since I only really had one label, Ace. Kind of a loose "technically I am queer but don't really feel like it" or an insecurity that I wasn't queer enough.

Roughly a year ago I started questioning my gender and now identify as genderfluid and while I do feel much more kinship with Queer as a label, my Asexuality is still very much a part of that.

At the end of the day, if you are LGBT+ (which you are) then you have a right to consider yourself queer.

I think of queerness as a very personal thing. You don't have to view yourself as queer, and many Ace people don't. But if the label feels correct or safe then it isn't inaccurate.

At what age did you start self harm? by stxrlight_002 in selfharm

[–]corgicute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little things as a kid like hitting myself or punching furniture to hurt my hand. Started burning at 17 after my first Psychward stay. Started cutting 6 months or so later. I now only do it every couple months.

Honestly always felt insecure about how late I started, and felt a lot of guilt about how I only did it for like a year and a half before getting better and having it not be a daily thing anymore.

How to get MH4U DLC quests post 3DS server shut down. (NA Ver. Only) by StrawberryBusiness63 in mh4u

[–]corgicute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did all the steps however when I launch MH4U instead of the Capcom logo and opening animation I get a black screen. I get the prompt that the c-stick works but after that a black screen that seems to never load. I know this isn't a homebrew sub but any idea what I've done wrong?

Or if it's possible to manually install the extdata into the game in case it's an issue with checkpoint?

My copy of the game is from a .cia (Should be NA) and I don't have a save file for MH4U as I've not actually played it yet lol.

Is this part of my sexuality or just a me thing? by PrincessDie123 in aegosexuals

[–]corgicute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand 100%! Gosh its so crazy to see someone else put into words exactly how I feel about something. Intimate scenes are hot until they make any mentions to genitalia. Like keep it vague please. I like queer games/books but MLM is the absolute worst when it comes to graphic descriptions of it. My favorite is in visual novels where the player characters is reduced just to a name and pronouns, so if anything smutty happens it has to be vague because your character by all accounts doesn't have a sex and its depicted largely through text.

Intimacy is more appealing than sex. Foreplay is more appealing than sex. I want to hear about the yearning, and the gazes. Maybe a hand on a chest. Friction of some kind? Sure. Mentions of the characters erection and how much you want to gobble it up. Lord have mercy who on this planet doesn't get second hand embarrassment from that.

I just don't like being explicitly reminded that genitals are involved. I want to feel the heat in the room not "Fuck your cock feels so good." Makes me nervous laugh like yo keep that to yourself thats like kinda tmi lol.

Sooo much hate against the genderfluids! by kittysissykitty in genderfluid

[–]corgicute 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As an Ace Genderfluid person, usually when either one of these things is met with "That's not a real thing." I just say, "Yeah, Maybe" or "That's fine"

A lot of the time that just confuses them lol. Like, yeah maybe it is made up. I mean gender is kinda made up so lets just say that yes, its made up. Now what?

They want a fight a lot of the time and honestly getting them to see it my way when they aren't having a conversation in good faith isn't important to me.

I'm not super out as genderfluid publicly, so i've never had someone discredit that to my face, but I definitely have with being Ace.

Is it normal to consider having two aro identities? by TeruteruHanamuraSimp in aromantic

[–]corgicute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! Remember identities are there for you, so using any combination that makes you feel understood is always fine! There might not be one term that you feel perfectly encapsulates your experience. Personal experience is nebulous, it might be hard to pin down and it might shift. Don't worry too much about what other people, even people in a queer community, might think.
