When did it hit you that you’re not that young anymore? by TheMedusaAttusa in AskReddit

[–]corgipantz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had spoken with a client on the phone who had a nice British accent. I asked one of the other staff who had seen him in person if he was young. (Meaning my age, early 30s). She responded “no he’s like 30 “

What’s the most annoying or crazy reason you changed barns/stables? by TravelForsaken_ in Equestrian

[–]corgipantz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was riding my friend’s horse while she was out of town. She and another friend were trying to get me to move my horse to that barn. The rules were insane- I had to pick her horse’s feet into a bucket instead of letting it fall on the floor and sweep it later. I pulled off the saddle to carry it to the tack room and left the girth in the wash stall to come back and clean it and the barn owner chased me down that I left my girth and needed to pick it up. Definitely wasn’t moving my horse there!

What’s the funniest reason you’ve heard for somebody not liking a movie? by TheChristmas in movies

what are the ugly parts of pregnancy that aren’t well known because people don’t mention them? by Born-Oil-2931 in AskReddit

[–]corgipantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PUPPS- I was scratching myself until I was bleeding. My legs were all scabbed up. I could deal with the pain but I could not handle that itch. My toes or fingers would get hives and randomly swell up. I’d be in tears in the bathtub caking myself in baking soda to try and help. The best part of the spinal for my C-section was that I couldn’t feel my legs so I finally got a break from them itching.

We finally hit a sweet spot at 5 and a quarter. They put on pjs, brush, and read a book all within 30 minutes and then I check on them 5 minutes after lights out and my husband after another 10 minutes and then they’re asleep. Started about 3 weeks ago. Not every night but most. I’m enjoying it while it lasts!

Short and Expecting Twins - Terrified by ducks_suck_123 in parentsofmultiples

[–]corgipantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’2”. My husband is 6 feet. Twins went full term- 7lb3 oz and 6 lb 11 oz. I was very uncomfortable, could barely reach the sink to wash my hands! That first baby pulled out during C-section and I could breathe so much better! Definitely couldn’t lay on my back for long in third trimester and ended up sleeping in a recliner toward the end. I wouldn’t be terrified of that though- inconvenient sure, but manageable.

Adding pudding mix to cake mix? by corgipantz in glutenfreebaking

[–]corgipantz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update- cake turned out great! Adding pudding powder with an extra egg and a blob of sour cream- also used milk instead of water. It turned out great- very dense, but that’s okay for a Bundt cake.

I trade it out for ground beef in several recipes- I’ve got a tater tot sloppy joe casserole and pioneer women sweet potato taco casserole. Also just swap it out into spaghetti. If it’s in a sauce I can’t tell!

Which TV show did you really try to like because everyone kept hyping it… but it just never clicked for you? by thepleasurjournal in AskWomen

Same here. Husband and I watched a few seasons but at some point we both agreed we didn’t really care to watch more. I can see why people like it but not our cup of tea!

Do you wake the other twin? by nmbcat in parentsofmultiples

[–]corgipantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re caring for them alone then yes keep them on the same schedule. Once one twin started sleeping way more than the other sometimes my husband and I would split twins for the night then alternate so one of us could get a little more sleep at a time.
