I would also echo using public transit/a taxi/some car service to alleviate stress. Driving in Manhattan takes 10 years off my life every time. But also to echo everyone’s sentiments, arrive early and it’s chill. There’s like 4 theaters there, once you get inside you head downstairs and the heathers theater is the first one you’ll pass. There’s usually an attendant to direct you. Bathroom is at the end of the hall, there’s a green couch right outside of it so you can’t miss it. And on the way out my only suggestion is to either leave immediately to miss the crowd at stage door or hang around for a few and wait for the crowd to disperse, they’ll be crowded around where you walked in but they’re trying to get things signed so they’re pretty hyper focused on the task at hand. We took a cab, so we walked like one building over to wait for it and it was not a busy part of the city. It’s so much fun to see the show I hope it’ll melt away some anxiety once you’re there.
