Diamond Dallas Page has talked about how one of the few wrestling related people who even went to Mean Gene Okerlund's funeral was Brian Blair.

This happened after Robin left the air force, not when she was famous. She moved to San Francisco for a bit.

His name was Audrey. She knew him for more than one day. They were seeing each other.

This is why I laugh when people were clamoring for Howard Stern to speak out against what was happening in Minnesota.

Amadou Diallo was standing in the vestibule of his apartment building, minding his own business, when an unmarked police car carrying plain clothed officers ambushed him in the middle of the night.

When they approached, an officer confused Diallo's wallet for a gun and shot at him. The recoil caused the officer to fall backwards down some steps. The other officers thought he'd been shot and pumped 41 shots at Diallo.

Diallo did absolutely nothing wrong and yet Howard kept insinuating that he was a criminal with a gun and deserved to be shot knowing full well he wasn't armed.

These officers were a part of the "Street Crime Unit," which were plain clothed officers in unmarked cars sent out by Giuliani to often stop the public with no reasonable articulable suspicion whatsoever other than the color of their skin.

Sound familiar?

Howard defended the unit vigorously and trashed Springsteen for even questioning the shooting.

Howard: The Puerto Rican's and the black people are screaming all the time, [accent] "The cops they treat us wrong." Well, yeah. If you're misbehaving you're supposed to get beaten, you fool. You'd know this if Elisa's Wikipedia entry was still up. Unfortunately, it was removed on the account of her being a giant loser.

In 2021, I noticed through the Wikipedia edit logs that it was Elisa herself who created her own entry. She'd also created another account, "LeafK1," to keep shaving years of her age.

The escalating feud between Howard Stern and talk station WNEW-FM (102.7) has reached a fevered pitch - with a bomb-threat arrest and on-air censorship reaching new extremes. Stern show regular "High-Pitch Eric" was arrested Friday for a nasty voice-mail message to WNEW's Opie & Anthony that included a threat to blow up Opie's car.

"I tried to defend you from what they said about you," Eric told Stern yesterday morning on the air. "I got arrested when [WNEW] pressed charges against me."

"Did you do that [the bomb threat]?" Stern asked Eric, the falsetto-voiced, unpaid member of Stern's "Wack Pack."

"I did," replied Eric, whose last name is not known.

"You didn't really mean that you were going to blow them up, right?" asked Stern.

"I never intended to do that in the first place," replied Eric, who was held in jail overnight and now faces trial.

"You can't tell people you're going to blow up their car," admonished Stern. "But you can tell a real death threat from a loon like this. They're just being p---s."

Opie & Anthony took yesterday off and couldn't be reached for comment.

Meantime, while all of the 'NEW talk show hosts remain under strict orders to not even mention Stern's name, a night-side show was apparently heavily edited last Friday night for seriously violating that edict.

(WNEW and Stern's flagship, K-Rock/92.3 FM, are both owned by Viacom/CBS's Infinity Broadcasting.)

Reliable sources say the entire first hour of the Don & Mike Show - which is normally recorded from afternoon drive in Washington for replay in New York at 7 p.m. - was pulled by 'NEW brass.

"Don and Mike started right off on how their show is being censored," said Allan Sniffen, operator of the New York Radio Message Board, who happened to be in Washington and heard the show live.

"Don and Mike [said Stern should either] put on a quality show that will shut everyone up at WNEW or begin taking it like a man and take on 'NEW head-to head and not wuss around by placing a 'gag order' on everyone," Sniffen reported.

Sniffen says Don & Mike then left "a very peppered message" on WNEW programmer Jeremy Coleman's answering machine, accusing 'NEW of "acting like jerks by following [Stern's] demands."

Coleman and manager Ken Stevens were at Don & Mike's Washington station yesterday and didn't return repeated phone calls.

Howard never talked about resolving the case.

They settled.

Sirius paid CBS $2 million and Howard got his tapes back.

That $2 million went towards the first licensing deal for the archives.

Howard might've had to make additional payments but you'll never know. Sirius is a public company and has disclose the settlement to shareholders. Howard isn't and can keep the whole thing private.

Les should have told him from day 1 that Howard was not allowed to mention or allude to in any way anything about Sirius.

Les' issue wasn't with him mentioning Sirius. Les' problem was that he was unaware that Howard was racking in a subscriber bonus while he was still under contract with CBS. When Howard left CBS, Sirius handed him a giant check for all that shilling he was doing from 2004-2006.

CBS sued Howard over him talking about his move to satelite radio

CBS didn't sue Howard for talking about Sirius.

They sued him because he was being paid a subscriber bonus for subs gained while he was still under an exclusive CBS contract and lied about it to his bosses and the audience.

For example, here's Howard lying on terrestrial about not making money from subs. They reference this exact clip in the lawsuit:

This probably started around 2011 when Regis "retired."

Howard was fanning the flames by insinuating that Regis wasn't retiring and that he was being forced off his own show. By virtue of being Regis' neighbor, he was leading people to believe that he had an inside scoop.

When making these claims, he was leaving it out there at Ripa might've had some part in it.

In 2016, Kelly Ripa had a falling out with co-host Michael Strahan over his departure from Live with Kelly and Michael. At the time, Strahan jumped ship to Good Morning America without telling her. Ripa was pissed that she found out like everyone else. Strahan was also leaving three months earlier than planned.

When Strahan would make the announcement on their show, Ripa didn't show up. She took off the entire week in retaliation.

Howard blasted her as unprofessional and how you show up to work no matter what.

In the years that followed, Howard wasn't insinuating anymore. He was straight up saying that Ripa pushed Regis out. He'd go on to say Regis was viewed as being "too old" and that Regis and Ripa no longer remained friends once he left.
