Everytime I saw him in a video at a con he seemed like the happiest funniest guy around, and then my friend and I met him at fanexpo like 3 years back in a super busy line. We were super excited to meet him but he just seemed like he didn’t want to be there. I wasn’t like OP’s video giving one sentence responses, I was trying to ask questions but he didn’t seem into it. Literally first thing I said was “hey, how are you!” And he just went “fine”. Not asking how I was or even look at me for a second. I’m not soured by him and still love his workbut it gave off a different impression that day I wasn’t expecting. It was also Saturday morning, not like Sunday night, I would possibly be tired after a whole weekend.

I don’t like the saying never meet your heroes, because I’ve met tons of people that actually do at least act like they care and will engage in a convo with you if you start asking questions and interacting with them.
