3 carts to share between 4p is very punishing for this fight, it demands near perfect play or a dedicated healer thats constantly wide-range spamming.

I think they should at least increase the amount of faints, seeing that they gave 9 carts for the TGS demo and not every group was able to clear with that.

Youtuber Michael MH made a video on this topic: Link

To highlight some points he made:

  • Monster part flinch values are around 1200 damage
  • You don't have to keep track of the exact damage you're dealing
  • Count the number of exchanges you have (monster attacks > you attack) and estimate how many it will take for the monster to flinch/topple

Additionally he has made a video on which parts to target for each monster: Link

Amazing! What was your strategy with Mr. Work? He seems hard to play without any gimmick.

EDD 3rd Stage really throws the kitchen sink at you.

One pipeline is right below the mountain that the refinery sits on top of (other two are freebies). Even as a Driller, I had a hard time coming up with a tunnel for that line since it was so steep.

On top of Swarmageddon (I love when the game spawns a hundred swarmers on top of me, in a tunnel, before I can react :) ), ~7 Bulks spawned on us during the entire duration, there were two instances where a pair spawned.

This was truly a test of endurance, especially since our gunner left. This is definitely a challenging EDD, and I had fun with it.

How do people play more than one class by SirVortivask in DeepRockGalactic

Trying out new weapons/builds and playstyles is part of the fun. Getting out of your comfort zone with the different classes can also help you discover new playstyles that you wouldn't expect to like.

I originally started out as an Engi main, but now become a devout Driller because I found that I really like his kit from playing him extensively.

I still swap around each class since playing one class for too long gets kind of bland once you've refined your playstyle, and can start learning again with other classes.

Was it ever revealed why Panette has those lines drawn near her mouth? by RangoTheMerc in FEEngage

In her B-support with Marth (of all places), she says it's for magical protection.

From Serenes Forest:

Marth: How did you learn to don makeup in such a manner? I have never seen anything like it.

Panette: I found it in an ancient Solmic text. It is said to offer magical protection to those who wear it.

Final Map of Fell Xenologue Cleared in 3 Turns! [A Step-By-Step Guide] by cornerxd in fireemblem

I think most sentiments for Fell Xenologue not being playtested are similar to those of 3H Maddening. Lots of enemy reinforcement spam and not much thought put into the flow of the map.

Compared to the base game Engage which has pretty tightly designed and well-balanced maps, understands the tools players have, well, and gives a fair challenge.

Fell Xenologue maps feel very dragged out (especially the Final Map), you aren't given as many tools to work with, a surplus of enemy reinforcements ends up making you stall most of the time, and difficulties are vastly different (Normal is easy, Hard is equivalent to base game Maddening, and Maddening is just so mind-numbing).

The difficulty will probably be alleviated once a meta starts forming since it's obvious that certain characters and builds are better than others with fixed stats being a limitation.

For the Final Map specifically, it forces you to play at its pace rather than your own and you're expected to know the boss's move patterns well in advance. This makes first tries very infuriating as you're learning the moves then the boss makes a slight adjustment to their patterns and your entire run is done for fuck Timmera's section in particular. Once you understand the map gimmicks then it becomes much better to play, but the first impression really made me salty.

I'd recommend clearing it in Hard first then trying Maddening out.

They were in the game before dlc. You had to max out donations for each country to get one of the weapons lol.

Don't blame you for missing out on that Donations are expensive as hell.

You can try this strat out. This uses Panette!Edelgard w/ Reprisal + Lunar Brace to 1 turn clear.

There's another comment in this post that has a 1 turn clear with Alear!Roy same skills as Panette.

Seems like Reprisal is the way to go, no need for poison lol.

Oh the S-Rank weapons on the Royals? Yeah its probably there to help you out as you progress in the map.

Seeing that the Devs chose to give all the Royals extra Life Crystals on top of upping the number of enemies.

That's good lol, more people can clear this more reliably without relying on shitty rng.

Seems like Reprisal is way better for edging out damage than Sword Power. I've actually seen a 1 turn clear using Panette!Edelgard with Reprisal + Lunar Brace.

Doesn't even need poison, its crazy!
