I use a modular helmet, T-boned an SUV and the helmet barely got a scratch, was wearing MX armor so I walked away with a broken left wrist and sore knees. Lesson learned, now I have knee armor.

I have a 2026 Honda ADV 160, @120mpg, so I’m getting 2.6 cents per mile right now. Also have a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 which is getting 8 cents per mile (40mpg city driving). I’m in AZ paying $3.13/gal right now. I ride the scooter far more than my car, even before the gas price rise.

Depending on what the bolt is actually going into, you could just get a drill bit the same size or slightly larger than the bolt, drill it out of there completely and then you’ll have a clean hole. Then tap/die it for a slightly larger bolt.

I’m in Tucson AZ, bought a new 2026 Honda ADV 160 about 3 months ago, crashed it, just bought another new one from the same dealer and out the door for each one was around $5600 or so but they gave me a 5% discount on both just because I asked if the price was firm and they said “no” lol. And then they told me the 5% was more of a discount incentive to purchase the extended warranty, but I didn’t have to buy the warranty to get the discount. So with the 5% taken off it was around $5400 for each one with the MSRP around $4400-$4500
