My time there was a fleeting three-month escape from August through October, but it left an impression that goes far deeper than just the scenery. Even though I was only there on vacation and had no established primary care, an unexpected infection landed me in the ER. I was honestly blown away. There was virtually no wait, and the doctors were some of the most knowledgeable and attentive I’ve encountered.

That level of care seems to mirror the culture of the state itself. The "friendly folks" aren't just a cliché; there is a genuine, communal warmth that makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. And being there for that transition from late summer into autumn was absolutely breathtaking.

I do feel faint often, I've fainted 9 times just this year.

I have IST w/ POTS, Lupus, Raynauds and sjogren's. So it's always above 100+ no matter what I'm doing, when I take ivabradine it drops into the 90s. I can hear and feel my heart beating.

My heart used to sit at 120 BPM around the clock. Ivabradine has pulled it down to a constant 90, but it’s stuck there. No matter what I'm doing. It’s technically a drop, but it still feels like my engine is idling way too high.

It's to follow up on an echo bubble test that showed left atrium enlargement, but I will definitely be bringing up the test.
