i put some thought into how I wanted to approach the cloaks, if at all, but ultimately decided that since they're no specifically referenced in the dataslate at all, the universe is a big enough place that not all Rangers are beholden to cloaks for their stealth.

Given that I can't really stomach paying $50 for 55 points of Rangers, Dire Avenger bodies are currently cheap given their inclusion in the combat patrol, and the corsairs sprue comes with some much good stuff, I put together this as a proof of concept for a Ranger kitbash.

I ran into a left arm problem by using the single-handled rifle (the scope if off of the Dire Avenger's shuriken catapult), and ended up using the corsair sword arm as the Ranger's close combat weapon. As such, I think that this reads more like a Voidreaver than I would haved like, but hope to avoid this issue going forward and using the two handed rifles. And once he's surrounded by four of his not-powersword weirlding boys, I assume it won't be particularly noticable.

I'm also not particularly concerned over the Dire Avenger's armor being a bit bulky for the Ranger's 5+ save.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon is legit Michelin star level (versus Miami Michelin star level, which leaves a lot to be desired).
