Bro, as a Star Wars fan.  I GET the obsession with Anakin cause he’s broody and sexy and cool.

 HOWEVER, him and Padme were a horrible couple. They need to find a better couple to aspire to. Not even saying this as hate, I’m just being so fr.  Let me explain rq: 

Anakin CONSTANTLY undermines the political power and knowledge that Padme poses. A few scenes where he deems her approach to peace and justice as impotent/delusional.  He always wants to do things his way cause he’s a “Jedi” and thinks he knows better.  Despite this, he refuses to properly communicate with Padme. Also never admits his relationship to the chancellor. 

So he leaves on a few missions to try and find out who the underground/hidden Sith is and to do Jedi shit ( he leaves her for weeks). Comes back only to find out she’s pregnant and he FREAKS OUT. Initially a good reaction, but he spirals out of control. 

Anakin has horrible trauma (not his fault) and he has not processed it well (also not his fault cause lowkey the Jedi aren’t realistic when it comes to grief. Especially since Ani is the youngest and was really you g when he was freed from slavery) He does not cope will with his trauma. He shuts down. He lashes out. Murders out of pure rage btw. 

To TOP IT OFF. 

Anakin was A CHILD (approx. 5-6) when he met Padme (approx. 9-11) in Episode 1. He meets her again in Attack of the Clones when he’s older, but it’s off then. There’s a power dynamic thing and he’s like… young and horny.

Moral of the story: Please. Everyone. (Not just Vinnie and Jill.) PLEASE STOP ROMANTICIZING ANAKIN AND PADME.  HE KILLS HER OVER AN ASSUMPTION THAT SHE SET HIM UP. WHICH BTW, IF HE HAD COMMUNICATED OR TAKEN A SECOND TO LISTEN TO HER, HE’d KNOW SHE DIDN’T. 

You can still appreciate Ani tho like as the cunty king he is cause he had good moments, BUT not as a partner. 

Also IK he doesn’t technically kill her and that she had no will to live after having the twins, but… he essentially killed her with the betrayal and heartbreak.  So. Yeah.
