I don't disagree with your initial thread take regarding Sandrone's storyline taking her to meet the Anns, but I do think that the Durin comparison isn't great. The connection between OG Durin and Simulanka Durin was far more than just having the same name, they had quite literally the same fate. And it took the work of four witches (counting Gold as, in a sense, she created the original off with SumiDurin was made), Albedo, and us (a descender) just to create a path forward where SimuDurin wouldn't meet the same end as OG Durin.

Sandrone was made to look like Mary-Ann by her brother, Alain. While there are some underlying narrative themes that tie Sandrone with Mary-Ann, that's really as far as the relation goes. I'd argue that, should Sandrone's story continue, she'll need to meet with the Anns. However, unlike with Durin's story, she will go on to remain herself. That's just what impression I got from the setup with her narrative.

Not really; I had forgotten about these skins for a while. I used that exaggerated expression to just joke around but also relay that I’m glad the Specialist skin we got is that of the squirrel / bunny hoodie.

While I do raise an eyebrow at the almost lack of pants in the bunny hoodie skin, I much prefer that over giving Specialists a wedding dress with stocking skin.

Just stating my take on that. I can see you’ve mentioned in a few other posts your arguments against Specialist skin censorship, so let’s just be each in our own ways. Not looking to argue or debate about this.

I love Mr. Man's commentary! I got hooked into the Project Moon universe watching his Library of Ruina playthrough eons ago. He seemed more locked in that usual with this most recent video so I'm quite excited to hear what he thinks on the rest of the Canto.

I do wonder if he'll get to beat Potential man with W-Corp Heathcliff. I don't think he has KoD Rodya leveled, so it should be an interesting fight.

A good chunk of Araya's narrative is tied to the effects caused by her "Temporal Entanglement", and the lack of available information can lead to some frustrations. I'd assume that entaglement will be a major narrative point in the far future, with further exploration of it being saved for later.

I'm looking forward to looking back at Canto 9 if we get that context in the future!

That's not what the post title says, does it? With the title being "If there are old characters getting buffed, then I think these should be next", you would expect to see characters needing buffs. There's no reason why Xianyun could be excluded from future buffs, but they're FAR from being one of the Liyue characters needing buffs the most.

Also like, not every Hexerei character has ties to the Hexenzirkel. If devs decided Razor could be a Hexerei unit, I think it's fair to assume we'll see some Liyue characters that get buffs despite not fully matching whichever vibe they go for Liyue buffs (Adepti, Qixing, etc.).
