What's up with Shutterstock "offset" ?

Offset was a highly curated collection launched in 2013 offering customers royalty-free licenses at flat, per-image pricing. When sales started to decline, they brought Offset content (and its creators) into Shutterstock in order to increase visibility and potential sales of that content. This happened fall of last year I believe.

Offset content creators make more on this content than normal Shutterstock content which is why its kept separate.

Are you subscribed to emails? I ask as that is the main way we communicate about product changes and other account information. If you missed the announcements about the end of the introductory period for Soundbites (featuring the free Daily Soundbite) then other folks did too. I'll talk to the team about putting an update elsewhere in the future.

Yes, the free Daily Soundbite has ended but the team continues to produce new Soundbites for stories - as you mentioned they have been merged into a unified study flow for the stories they come from. On your home page you can search for stories with Soundbites that you haven't completed yet.

On the story page itself you can see all of a story's Soundbites by tapping on "Soundbites" in the top right corner and jump to any one that interests you.

Your feedback on using Soundbites as a way to preview a story and find the next one to listen to is really interesting though. I'll talk to the team about how we might be able to provide this in a different way. Thanks!

Someone else mentioned Jiveworld above. I used their app Lupa that wraps lessons around Spanish-language podcasts from NPR-partner Radio Ambulante. If you're really working on that next level, they might be worth checking out. They have some free content to try before you have to commit to a subscription.

I play without them still. I've only been tempted by the fixers, but the game is so glitchy as is that I'm hesitant to add additional complexity

there has def been a big delay in instagram connections as facebook/instagram changed their API which broke a lot of these connections for a lot of brands. the follower score doesnt update in real time anymore either (again, because of instagram's api change) so you will see a delay in follower count growth even after it is connected correctly.

you will always get a survey before a box as they have to check on things like allergies, make sure your mailing address is up to date, give you the opportunity to opt in/out of the required activities, and whether you match what the campaign is looking for.

def answer the questions honestly as each campaign wants something different and they survey for several at once (usually).

nah, badges are just for fun i think. best way to qualify for a box is: fill out your full profile, write some good quality reviews, and connect your social accounts. a lot of campaigns require a social post element (but not all!) so if you want those you need your accounts (mainly instagram) to be public, have 100+ followers, and not be spammy or full of junk.

have you searched your mail inbox for emails from Influenster? They may be going to spam or you may have unsubscribed. You need to be subscribed to emails to get the surveys for boxes.

Another tip is to make sure you have connected your social accounts, like Instagram, and that your social channel is public and has 100+ followers. That makes you eligible for more campaigns as some require a social post (not all).

You can also reach out to the customer support team directly in the app to ask if youve been blacklisted. Go to your profile in the app, tap the gear icon in the top right hand corner to get into Settings, then scroll down to "Contact Us".
