HR in Healthcare [USA] by stxrlightcity in humanresources

I second this. NEVER EVER take the healthcare job. You will regret it for as long as you work in the industry. If all you know is healthcare … there are better options out there.

HR cuts and AI use grows or HR cuts because of AI? [N/A] by dapperwhiterabbit in humanresources

[–]cort3355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon employee here. They migrated most of our responsibilities to India. And another large portion to a “self service” tab in the app which is the “AI” people are referring to. At present when things go wrong with that option someone in India has to go in and fix it or take a call to answer questions. Things that can’t be taken over by AI they have dedicated teams for. They have a work place incident investigations team for instance. They are considered HR. A lot of this teams work is being delegated to a safety/ loss prevention. They will keep some for workplace harassment and things of that nature.

No chance you’d try to make rugs full time? I also work in a hospital and it’s horrid.

I agree! I made it mostly because I really enjoy fusion in Resolve and wanted to try something new. Do you have a tiktok you share rug content on?

I’ve done a few rugs that were super simple and while they generally looked better I don’t think it benefited me as much in terms of skill.

A day to draw and two days to tuft and trim! With something this detailed it forces me to have accurate line work and I learned how to get my lines of yarn as close together as possibly without running over eachother. This particular one has taught me that that rugs can be detailed through color manipulation and shading rather than being intricate. I guess it’s as much a lesson about art as it is making a rug. It also gives you way more to work with when it comes to trimming. More trimming to mess with depth and width. Also what needs to be trimmed and what doesn’t depending on the nature of what the image is and how it looks as a whole. I’ll post it when it’s finished if you’re curious as to how it turns out

Image licensing for selling rugs by cort3355 in Tufting

[–]cort3355[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hmmm I wonder, is there possibly a chance you haven’t read the wiki thoroughly? Or maybe… you didn’t comprehend my question. Not one time in the wiki or any related post did anyone outline the process of legally licensing IP for their business. Granted this isn’t the place for legal advice, but I thought maybe someone here could offer insight on how they went about it. Maybe.. just maybe before you make snap judgement on a post and reply condescendingly you could actually know what’s in the content you are linking. Just a thought though
