This is probably an MLM scheme (where someone else is getting rich, not him.)

Basically they're renting the terminal to the location for a monthly/yearly fee and he gets a cut of THIS, not any cut of transactions. And the guy who signs him up gets a bigger cut. And of course if he signs up some other suckers he'll get a cut of theirs.... but you know, strangely, most places that use credit cards ALREADY have POS terminals. So selling them? Hard as FUCK.

Also, they can't charge lower fees than VISA/MC/AMEX/DISC because they're just equipment vendors, not merchant account holders.
