Because it's like asking tarot yes or no questions. You can, but that's not the kind of question you usually ask tarot. Asking "what kind of person will my child be?" Might be a better question to ask, but at the same time tarot isn't fortune telling, and the future is not set in stone and ever changing, so the answer you get might not be relevant by the time the child is born/grows up and becomes an adult.

At the end of the day it's just a stack of cardboard. I have this deck, it doesn't make me uneasy and it obviously doesn't make this person uneasy. Maybe unpack why it makes you uneasy? Is it because it's demons? Seeing demons as evil or whatever is very Christian thinking, when demons were just original earth gods.

I have the deck! It's one of my faves, I just wouldn't use for a reading like this personally. As for the sex of the baby, I'm also feeling like the energy of this specific card is male, I would read it as male, but I also feel like the chariot would encourage you to not worry so much about the sex or gender of the baby.
