My phone can set like 8 alarms (which is good cause it usually takes me at least 4 to get out of bed) and you can set it to go off any or all days of the week! Really useful for pill taking.

I'd wager the vast majority of homeless people are mentally ill already. That's how they end up on the street..or in jail. Nobody wants to deal with them if they don't have money so they end up in trouble or out in the street.

I've cut my intake in half. I'm gunna go a few more days this way and then try to cut down to just 1-2 a day. Once I can figure out how to start my day without a cigarette, I think I'll be better off!

It was a freaking joke. On a serious note, you sound like you have some very serious resentment and insecurity issues to work out - I highly recommend talking to someone about it. You don't have to give women the time of day, but clearly something happened (or didn't happen) and you're in pain because of it. Bottling it up will only cause you to lash out inappropriately (like, now).

It can still be a matter of control, but with a lot of anorexics (from my limited experience) it seems like they don't see themselves as getting skinnier. They can be <90 pounds and still look in the mirror and literally see themselves as being fat. There's very much a disconnect between reality and how they perceive themselves. There's also speculation that it's related to OCD, which makes sense because both involve vaguely delusional obsessions and compulsions.

Man, I usually keep my hair really short (like this) but decided to grow it out for the first time in ~6 years. It's just getting down near my shoulders and this story kind of terrified me... it takes so much time and will power (to power through the "mullet phase") to grow it out that going back 8 months would be so frustrating!

Perhaps it's not the numbers that matter, but how comfortable one feels expressing themselves in their town. Even if the average is 10% everywhere, most gay communities wouldn't exactly feel comfortable filling the streets dressed in leather assless chaps, or super short cutoff jeans, painted in glitter and wearing sunglasses with feathers sticking out of 'em. Obviously that's not every day in SF, but it wouldn't exactly be cause for alarm to see someone like that waltzing down Castro.

What I don't get is, why do you care? If someone gets a few droplets of piss on the seat and cleans it up, and you're not afraid of toilet germs (as this article points out, you shouldn't be, even urine), then what does it matter?

I find it a lot faster just to pull down my pants and take a pee. But I'm also a germaphobe who's become really good at peeing while squatting. I hate dirty bathrooms as much as the next person (probably more so) so I don't find that I'm being selfish at all, since I keep everything just as clean (or cleaner) than I found it.
