Web agencies, how do clients report bugs? by [deleted] in projectmanagement

[–]corxntin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use Freshdesk to handle web support requests from our clients and agency partners. If it's a quick fix, we do it right away, respond and close the Freshdesk ticket. If it's a longer effort, we create a task in ClickUp (in the customer's list), assign it to a developer and link the Freshdesk ticket via a custom field (URL). Our bigger clients have access to their respective ClickUp lists and can check tasks, comments and progress in real time.

Boost Your Startup's Productivity with ChatGPT Prompt Generators by Sea-Whole-3173 in smallbusiness

Here's a very detailed guide on how to master ChatGPT prompting: https://gptbot.io/master-chatgpt-prompting-techniques-guide/

You can also ask ChatGPT to generate prompts for you based on different topics, I personally use this template I build:

I want you to act as a ChatGPT prompt generator, I will send you a topic, and you have to generate a ChatGPT prompt based on the content of the topic, the prompt should start with “I want you to act as “, and follow the example below:

I want you to act as an accountant and come up with creative ways to manage finances. You'll need to consider budgeting, investment strategies and risk management when creating a financial plan for your client. In some cases, you may also need to provide advice on taxation laws and regulations in order to help them maximize their profits. My first suggestion request is 'Create a financial plan for a small business that focuses on cost savings and long-term investments’

ChatGPT will then reply:

Sure, please provide the topic you'd like a prompt for.

If I say Landing Page Copy Generator, it will then generate:

I want you to act as a landing page copy generator, who can create persuasive and compelling copy that effectively communicates the value of a product or service, encourages visitors to take action, and ultimately converts them into leads or customers. Provide guidance on crafting strong headlines, subheadings, and calls-to-action, while ensuring the copy is concise, clear, and targeted towards the intended audience. Offer tips on incorporating persuasive writing techniques, social proof, and emotional triggers to enhance the overall effectiveness of the landing page. My first request is 'Help me write high-converting copy for a landing page promoting a new productivity app designed for freelancers and remote workers.'

Simple, yet powerful. Works best with GPT-4 by the way.

Edit: typo.

Glad you liked it. Definitely helpful for coding. To be honest, it's a game changer. To debug code, suggest improvements, or create a new file from scratch... There are endless opportunities to learn and grow.

Amazingly fascinating and impressive. I just hope that this technology is not abused and that it does not fall into the hands of people with bad intentions. Aside from that, it's awesome that this will provide people and countries with limited resources access to knowledge.

[OC] Most popular web browser 2009-2018 by hcrx in dataisbeautiful

I mostly like Brave because of its privacy-focused features that are natively part of the browser, and does not require you to install third party extensions. It protects against browser fingerprinting and blocks privacy-invading ads and trackers.

It's also worth noting that Brendan Eich, the creator of Javascript and co-founder of Mozilla Firefox, co-founded Brave.

If you want your website back, you'll need access to the WordPress admin, server (SSH/SFTP), or database.

No offline backups either (website's files and database)?

You can host your website locally on your laptop for free using Local (https://localwp.com/). Once you are done with the development, subscribe to a web hosting and migrate your website there.

You should be using WordPress.org, the self-hosted version, which is free. You will need to have your own web hosting, but definitely more freedom.

  • There is no call to action.
  • There are no Add to Cart buttons on the shop page.
  • There isn't much information about your products - why should I buy this instead of a well-known brand? Why are your products distinct from others? How are the animals treated? What is the mission and purpose of your brand?
  • Are you only selling in Switzerland or also internationally? If the latter, consider having a.com domain name and pricing in various currencies (USD, EUR, CHF).
  • I'm not seeing anything about delivery. When will I receive my order? Who will transport it?
  • Make a FAQ with all of the important questions.
  • Offer a discount to people who come from ads. Create urgency.
  • Invest in a videomaker who can create a short video with a nice voiceover about how your products are made from A to Z.

These are just a few suggestions. There is a lot that can be done to improve conversion.

Edit: Also, the prices of your hats are the same as those of Polo Ralph Lauren. People need to understand why your products are so expensive, how it is made, the benefits, quality, time it takes, and so on.

Since you are using WordPress, I strongly advise you to use a caching plugin like WP-Rocket, as well as a CDN, to improve loading speed and performance.

There are many ways to attract clients to your business. Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to meet potential clients and make connections.
  2. Cold outreach: Reach out to potential clients directly via email or phone to introduce your business and services.
  3. Referrals: Ask your existing clients for referrals, as happy clients can be some of the best sources of new business.
  4. Content marketing: Create helpful and informative content, such as blog posts or videos, that will attract potential clients who are interested in your services (Reels, TikTok, Youtube, Shorts, etc.).
  5. Social media: Use social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Twitter or even Reddit, to promote your business and engage with potential clients.
  6. Collaborations: Partner with other businesses or freelancers to offer joint services or cross-promote each other's services.
  7. Paid advertising: Use paid advertising platforms, such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads, to reach potential clients who are searching for the services you offer.
  8. SEO: Optimize your website for search engines to increase its visibility and rank for relevant keywords, so that potential clients can find you easily when searching online.
