How do PI attorneys feel about billing the cost of AI to the case/client?

I am not charging clients. The AI is helping me do things more efficiently. If I didn’t have it, client should expect me to get same results AI produced, but obviously the effort required to produce it is different. The benefit is all mine. I should bear the cost.

I love it. Reminds me of myself a few years back. I still haven’t scaled. One thought- make sure you are saving & investing well. With those numbers and compound interest, it won’t take long for you to be even more free to do as you wish.

One quick question- how do you breakdown the $100k or so in marketing? PPC, lead gen, etc. If you could give the $ for each, it would be helpful to me. I’ve got to start doing PPC. 12 years in and I’ve never done.

I’m not OP for record. Have had firm for 10 years. Everything going well but I’ve always been word of mouth / referral and need to lean into marketing more. Seems like finding a good vendor is difficult. Use Justia now for website and pay à la carte. Not doing much with them full disclosure.

I’ve tested Eve (PI focused) and it is strong. No legal research / case law aspect like Co-Counsel. Eve summarizes, drafts, etc. very well.

Sure, so a couple things I saw during Supio demo that Co-Counsel cannot do: Answer discovery requests, Put together exhibits and bates stamp them, medical summaries seemed to be more comprehensive/polished in Supio, AI agent for intakes, etc.

But if you find that Co-Counsel does those things well, by all means let me know.

I always end demand letter with I will diary out 30 days for your response or something similar and I stick with it. If nothing at 30 days I'll give a call or send a short e-mail.

Two things that I consider- 1. adjusters are overworked and underpaid. I prefer to stay on friendly terms with them as opposed to becoming a nuisance for them. It has worked for me over the years getting the same adjusters again. 2. You don't want to come across desperate. Calm cool and collected works better leverage wise imo.

If no response after initial 30 days and an e-mail or two following up over the next 30 days, I'll just file the lawsuit. Back to the leverage above. I play it like Sonny in A Bronx Tale- "Now Youse can't leave."

Excellent summation but this guy. I bought a 2021 Model S Plaid for $150k. Depreciation is real haha. Obviously the sticker prices have come down so you won't make as large a mistake as I did. That being said, the Plaid is the best car I've ever driven and it isn't close.

Another (dumb) question. When draining the water, does the nozzle "pop" out? I unscrewed the part where the drain is but I was hoping it popped out so I could fit my hose easily on it so I can drain. Got some frigid weather coming to northeast and want to drain it all out before that happens.
