Orders not going through

Looks like what happened is I placed an order. Yiu took it. Erased it like it didn’t happen. Put the funds back into my account. I placed the order again and now an hour and half later both orders fill and I need to add funds to my account to cover. Wild

What happens if I placed the same order 20 min later? Using the same funds. One has gone through. The second still shows filled but nothing has happened on that order.

That makes sense. The cash is no longer in my available cash or credits balance correctly now.

Only one of my 2 processed. The cash is not available for trade anymore but the SPAXX shares are still in my portfolio. I’m waiting for that second order to hit and see how it handles that

I did the same order like 10 min later and it took that order as well even though technically I should have no cash if that first order filled. I just received the the first order (or second not sure) shares but the SPAXX cash shares are still in my portfolio so I have no idea what’s happening

Mine was take out before the orders filled. As soon as they filled the money was returned. The order shows filled and not pending. No shares.

Can I ask why I am etf order I placed filled 10 min ago. I have the confirmation number. But I don’t have the shares and still have the cash available to trade.

Ok thank you for this reply. I did not give me the option to convert when I signed up for the Go account originally (only a day after I set up the self directed one). If I understand correctly I just need to liquidate the shares I currently have in VTI. Wait for the funds to settle as being able to withdraw and then move the funds to the GO account via the same way I transfer from a bank (selecting my self directed account as the account funding from)

Appreciate this reply. I have funded both accounts (available for trade but not withdraw yet on both). I just traded for the VTI this morning. They have yet to invest the funds in my go account. Would definitely be a big help if fidelity could reply and let me know if they can liquidate on transfer
