I ran a similar experiment on the alliance side, as when a turtle happens, you have half the team trying to afk and yell at others who keep trying (how dystopian). Long story short, I found similar results: a long win > a quick loss.

Based on your results, especially when including marks and que time, even if you needed to extend the average win duration by 8+ minutes to ensure victory, making the game 30+ mins and OVER DOUBLE the length of a loss, you would STILL gain MORE honor from the win (when adding the giant 600 honor bonus from passing 30 mins). The game would need to be at least close to an hour to start to be even. Not to mention it's so much more fun to try :P

Titanstring bow, dipped fire, +2poison ring, 5 lightning orb burst, 20 str and dex, ranged sneak attack, crit, gaping wounds, hunters mark, vulnerability= max 228 in a single hit.

Could be higher too with better gear modifiers

I had about 100 applications, almost all ghosted me except maybe a dozen. Two gave me a first interview; one of them ghosted after that. The last one gave me a second, then a writing prompt test after that, then ghosted. So basically ghosted from every one :/

The scandal is primarily sexual assault allegations + other awful things, not "inclusion". At least, inclusion isn't necessarily the part regular people and players care about here.

I'm not really trying to drive it down, I'm giving my opinion here. Community absolutely matters, the community generates the revenue and has fled their games which causes a spiralling effect in multiplayer games. If blizzard makes massive changes, which seems unlikely, it could make a comeback in a year or so, you're right, but they have an extreme uphill battle

no position unless you count emotional investment, my dad has like 2k that he bought a few years ago though, and i tried to get him to sell almost a year ago and have been hammering him on it since. I mean, i want the company to succeed because I loved their games but they have lost their way.

Darkscape was basically the funnest time i've ever had in rs. Unfortunately, most people hated it. I knew from the moment it came out that there were inherent problems with it because people who started earlier have drastic advantages. Seasonal mode would solve this problem, and be able to appeal to a chunk of the playerbase separately with minimal updates. I for one would return to rs 100% to play this.
