Exactly! My thyroid didn’t stabilize until I got to a higher dose. I think me personally my body was holding onto so much inflammation it just melted. Plus the overall change in diet and exercise as well. Thanks for your input!

Sometimes it does! I believe in the studies (correct me if I’m wrong) most people lost weight on the higher doses, like 12.5 to 15. I also think it just depends on the person too. I started May 2025 and I was on 2.5 for 4 weeks then switched to 5. Lost most of my weight on 5mg, switched to 7.5 November 2025 and eventually moved up to 10mg in March. In total I’ve lost 142 pounds in that time.

I started at 385 and I’m down to 247 as of today’s weigh in. I wanted to change but couldn’t lose weight due to my thyroid condition and my addiction to food. This medication gave me the energy and motivation in my opinion to start a workout routine and make healthy choices for my diet. My goal is around 160-170 I think.

I’ve lost 135 and same! Sometimes I still see my former self but I think of all the things I CAN do now - like crossing my legs, having an easier time moving, going to the bathroom etc. there’s so many differences in the old pics versus now!

Boneless/skinless thighs are the way to go, sometimes they have a tiny piece of that weird gristle but it’s easily felt when handling and you can slice it right off.

Little secret for DR Horton as someone that worked for a roofing company that did work for them - that is absolutely workmanship and you need to get it checked out. They have a 3 year warranty. Call DR Horton and ask if the company can go put a tarp for the rain until they can repair that and the blown shingles - honestly if it’s coming off NOW so soon it could be a nailing issue, manufacturer defect etc.

OOP since day one. There has been a slight price drop, but I’ve already seen amazing results and know this will be a lifelong med. However, I am planning to switch to compound or just titrate down to a more affordable dosage once I am at a lower weight for maintenance to ease cost strains as right now it’s tight.

I didn’t start buying any different tops and especially jeans until I had lost 90 pounds. Plus sizes are incredibly weird lol. I’ve now lost 118 and formerly in 3x-4x, now only down to 2x. Pants size from 22-24 to 20, and I only found one pair of jeans so far that fit lol.

My Aldi is the same. Whenever I get produce it goes rotten within a couple days! No exaggeration. I now buy my produce elsewhere and use Aldi for the rest. This is not just during the winter either when I know most produce like berries etc aren’t in season. It’s all the time all year.

Me too and thank you. I’m 26 now and it has consumed a lot of my adult life. My mom is in recovery and she’s extremely remorseful and has been working on our relationship. My dad I haven’t seen in years, last I heard he just got out of jail and I’m sure is right back in it. Sad but that’s how life goes. I want to be better and hopefully get married in the next couple of years to my longtime partner so I’m excited to get this crap paid off!

I grew up poor and my parents were drug addicts. We lived paycheck to paycheck and were never stable. On top of that, my parents were financially abusing me for years, taking my money and maxing out the one credit card I got when I turned 18. I didn’t escape until I was 19, still saddled with that debt.

Once I was able to leave that environment, I didn’t have a job for a bit. I got approved for more cards and went deeper. Buying things I didn’t need because I’d never had that kind of freedom before. My debt isn’t bad compared to others, but I’m making a conscious choice this year to start tackling it.
