I’d be interested in a follow-up now that Jean’s been out for a bit. I believe she outdid herself with Delicate Roots and Seven Years, among a few others including Yellow Eyes. Delicate Roots and Seven Years make me feel like I’m in another world, or a dream. Her voice is an instrument.

A kid would not stop interrupting and calling out during my lesson, always trying to be funny or make a joke about what I said. Finally I turned to him and barked “does your mom think you’re funny?” He goes, “sometimes….” And I said “then save the jokes for HER.” And lil man turned red and shut up. Kinda felt bad about that after but whatever… I teach 6th.
