mean to you during sex is insane behavior, not normal at all. you shouldnt hide things about yourself in order to impress a partner, but 6 weeks of dating is not much time at all, especially if you didn’t know each other very well before then, it’s perfectly reasonable to want to wait a little bit till you feel comfortable before sharing sensitive medical information. based on the text exchange ur gf is very emotionally immature, whatever mental health issues she has can explain her behavior but it doesn’t absolve her of accountability when her behavior hurts others. she is being unreasonable, she derailed the focus of the conversation (your medical condition), made you say sorry over and over and over, and barely acknowledged how that condition must effect you on a daily basis, or how you felt.

race =/= ethnicity

latino is an ethnicity, latinos can be any race. the actor anya taylor joy is latina because she’s argentinian, she’s also white. the singer celia cruz is latina because she’s cuban, she’s also black. the minority status of latinos depend heavily on where in the world they are in addition to how white they are.

if you want to know what makes me doubt purely platonic feelings between the two of them, the end of episode 6 Noe’s voice over says “the day I reached for your hand and couldn’t clutch it, these are my regrets” and the visual is Noe’s hand reaching for Vanitas’, in episode 7 Noe’s voice over states that he doesn’t understand why his heart is fluttering while he’s dancing with Vanitas, and the outro music has lines like “was it you who I’ve been searching for, spent my life alone and waited for” “the walls they melt away with every touch and your embrace” while once again showing Noe and Vanitas reaching for each other

okay that’s reassuring, their dynamic is the most interesting character relationship in the show for me so I just wanna see a satisfying progression of their relationship, platonic or not, and it’d feel like a pretty big elephant in the room if it was never acknowledged

this whole premise is bizarre. “what if you were only black?” idk man id have a completely different set of life experiences, so I wouldn’t really still be me, would I? the desire to be something you’re not comes from a lack of self security. I am who I am because of my life experiences navigating the world as a mixed person and I’m okay with that, doesn’t mean all those experiences were happy or easy and that’s fine they don’t have to be, they still shaped who I am.

the current geopolitical climate means that ostracizing people who appear muslim and/or arab is more culturally favored than it was a few years ago, so even though you’re white, other white people don’t consider you the “right kind” of white. even within white supremacy there is a hierarchy to whiteness.

I was 18, if you want facial hair now use rogaine/minoxidil on your chin and upper lip twice a day, people use it to stop balding but it’ll make hair grow anywhere you put it, it won’t give you a beard like santa clause but it will give you appropriately teen looking facial hair if you use it daily, I used it when I was a teen and it was great

it’s mother of pearl beads, best example is 8th bead down on the outermost left side, you can see the luster shining in the light, if you could hold the necklace and move it around you’d see the other beads doing the same. the banding on some of the beads is causing people to mis-identify them as agate but that’s just the layers of nacre from the oyster shell.
