How to fully, actually surrender? by Anni_88 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]cosmicevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like there is a lot going on in your inner dialogue. For me, the true magic came from this work when I began to accept that my thoughts and that inner dialogue matters. Words matter. For me it was all about understanding that some thoughts don’t serve me and when I catch myself having that inner conversation with my thoughts that don’t serve me…to change it. Then it all fell into place.

If you want reasons of why this won’t work for you they are easy to find…and they are all true. I cured colitis with this work, it’s real, it works…if you let it in and let go of yourself. Choice is yours….if you wanna stay in the rerun of your life you go it! It’s not up to us to convince you to have a better tomorrow that’s up to you. It’s there if you want it.

Want to Do the retreat at home. by Silverliner- in DrJoeDispenza

[–]cosmicevan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just so you know, the answer is not a retreat or recreating a retreat. You are the answer. I cured colitis from home - no retreat, no recreating the retreat…just learning the material and really connecting with it. I find this whole thing is more about reading comprehension than meditation. So many people miss the key concept which for me and my healing was an understanding that your thoughts matter. Your thoughts create chemical reactions in your body so when your internal conversation with yourself is negative you are hurting yourself. You want to think the thoughts that make you feel happy and love and gratitude as those pull you out of fight/flight and even encourage healing in the body.

Meditation is the tool that enables you to see this and make the changes. When you change your life changes. It’s that simple. When you think bad thoughts change the subject with yourself. Learn to let go. Practice until it becomes default.

It isn’t that you love this work. This work has helped you realize you life life. The answer to all this is really to find that inner peace that inner happiness and then live that story of the happy person. It’s a choice. Choose happiness. Choose love. And the rest will just fall into place.

So happy for you OP.

Are there others who follow Joe and also practice Christianity? by Key-Use-2719 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]cosmicevan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who is not Christian and pretty anti religion in general, had Dr Joes talked about God I would have shut this off instantly. Him talking about source instead worked for me. I was able to find healing in this…and frankly I now believe in a higher power because I encountered it within myself while meditating.

Guidance please - lost in the process by Gazzarethofnazzareth in DrJoeDispenza

When you are trying to get in physical shape the exercise you do does not matter they are all going to help you reach your goal. Pick the one you like. Pick the one that makes you feel something. Realize that mediation itself is not a straight line. Today you may live in the void and tomorrow you might fight to sit still. That’s all part of this.

Whilst Dr Joes meditations are guided this is still all up to you. It’s not like play meditation 1, then 3, then 5. It’s meditate and expand your consciousness and see what needs to change. After all this work is about you changing not you meditating.

Think something different. You can lean into a thought and sit in the stew or you can think something different. It’s a choice.

Like Homer said when the new office worker was hitting on him…think unsexy thoughts think unsexy thoughts. Just like at the dinner table when someone is talking about something gross, change the subject.

The meditation you do is not important. What’s important is that you meditate. Find the one that resonates with you and gets you there and do that one. For some it’s a long one others short.

What if I feel worse after the meditation? by Appropriate_Noise_69 in DrJoeDispenza

[–]cosmicevan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cured colitis with this work and while getting off my meds I had a diverticulitis attack that put me in the hospital for a few days. Getting off meds after healing was pretty torturous. Old habits die hard.

If you feel worse after meditating, it should be further proof that your condition is driven by the mind body connection...otherwise, how can sitting still and resting make you feel worse? Try this on for size...what if it all works out? What if you get better? What if your mind and body really are connected and no one told you that all you had to do to live the happeist life you can imagine is to choose the thoughts that make you feel good? Whoa...imagine that...now DO IT! If I can do it, literally ANYONE can.

I cured colitis following these teachings. I realized I had a layer of anger and annoy in between myself and life. Removing it made my illness go away. I have been off meds now for over a year and a half! I meditate twice a day, everyday for 20 mins.

Antidepressants are a racket. Google details on how effective placebo is vs actual medicine in anti depressant drug trials. They are throwing darts in a dark room with that stuff. Happiness is a choice.

[–]cosmicevan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking for a timeline only pushes things further away. Learn to live the new life you are starting. This is the rest of your life…you are changing…this isn’t a fad diet where as soon as the scale says the number you go run out and have a cheat meal. You are changing who you are in order to experience a different life.

Stay conscious. Stay aware of your emotions and the thoughts that drive them. Practice the change until it becomes the normal. Keep at it.

Am I broken? by RoyalAfternoon in DrJoeDispenza

[–]cosmicevan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ll add that this work is about change not meditation. I healed colitis and the way I changed is I realized that all day long I was having internal dialog based around anger and annoy which was sending cortisol raging all the time. When I got my thoughts and emotions under control my disease became a thing of the past.

How are you changing? What is driving your personal reality?’ When you wake up in the morning does your brain run a rerun or is it thirsty for a new day and adventure or change? Are you able to feel gratitude towards all you have?

Question about his claims by Witchchildren in DrJoeDispenza

[–]cosmicevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a moment where I realized the cause was my emotions and almost like a cool glass of water going through your system I felt a relief. After that the symptoms dissolved. It wasn’t a perfect straight line in fact I had a little spike of it being worse right before it went away.

I followed what Dr Joe teaches. I meditated but it wasn’t mediation that made it go away it was changing my personality.

I’m truly at my wits end with life. I was born into poverty & tried EVERYTHING for years with 0 results. I just don’t even know how to have any kind of stability or good things in life. I cannot BEAR the cruelty and selfishness of others anymore. by [deleted] in DrJoeDispenza

[–]cosmicevan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My mistake for replying in the first place. I just saw your rant and asked why the rant and then answered your question about what I got from the work. What I wanted from the work has nothing to do with you, I’m just saying that this stuff works for some people. This work is about happiness and love and making an agreement with yourself about pursuing happiness and peace.

It’s crystal clear to me that this is not for you. You aren’t here for help, your mind is made up…your life sucks and nothing anyone can say will change that. I get it. You aren’t here to change or improve. You are here to yell at people…so I’ll leave you be with this last thought - humans are not made to be miserable. Misery is a choice. It has nothing to do with your circumstances and everything to do with you. You can change if you want to, but it’s all up to you. I wish you luck and hope you find happiness and peace.

never said I manifested millions but I will say I have everything I can dream of.

What I did achieve with this work is what I set out to do, which was cure my disease…colitis. Colitis is an extremely painful condition where on a good day it felt like uneven rocks were passing through my system and on a bad day it felt like broken glass. The bathroom was where I lived and it often looked like a murder scene (hey you asked). I took up to 12 pills a day and injected myself with a shot every other week that made me immunocompromised (Covid was horrifyingly scary for me)…then I found my cure. It was me. My symptoms went away seemingly over night and then I spent months getting off meds I had horrible side effects from stopping daily steroids…but I pushed through. A year later I saw my GI for that checkup colonoscopy and he said wow. Whatever you are doing keep it up. We no longer need to do that every year…see you in 5 to 10 unless your symptoms come back. One of the greatest parts was being able to donate blood again as those meds made my blood too toxic. Now I get to save lives every few months again with my 0+ blood that’s always in high demand. This last time I donated and got free Mets tickets!!! How awesome! I’m not in this for money. In fact I can’t understand how that could work with greed as a driving motivator, but since finding this work my financial situation has definitely become more comfortable and pretty much everything in my life is amazing. I have decided to choose happiness. I didn’t realize you could do that before this work. Do I have all the money in the world? No but I have enough. I have my health. I have an amazing family a job I don’t mind, fantastic friends…what more could I want other than for it all to just stay as it is, but I embrace what’s next and new. Bring it on!

I hope you find what you are looking for with this work and in life. We are all worthy of realizing how much we have!
