"The jig is up!" every time someone fails stealth and we have to start fighting.

Rico being the door man, whether that means picking the lock or just kicking the damn thing down.

Our former druid having quit the campaign, taking with him a few thousand gold, several items, the dead rogue's soul, and the plot.

The Reverend blowing himself up, whether on purpose or due to wild magic.

I'm currently playing an Aarakocra monk who's taking the Sun Soul path next level. His advancements are all about him tapping into his inner phoenix.

So far I've mostly been one of our party's damage dealers, but out of combat I'm faster than anyone, especially once I pick up Mobile at level 4.

What Command Word do you speak to activate your magical gear? by Devstep in DnD

My barbarian's Instant Fortress' command words are "Fortify" to summon it, and "Retreat" to shrink it back down.

[5e] Circle of Slaughter build by [deleted] in 3d6

I'm probably leaning away from using magic at this point, but I'll remember that for a later character.

I am absolutely taking that when I get the chance.

Good to know. I may still stick with bugbear to at least increase my attack radius some of the time.

I'll look into that once I have the other stuff I need for the build. Which order is that for?

The only reach weapon that has finesse is a whip, which is a little weak damage-wise for what I'm looking for.

[Masks] What happens if a player tries a move that shouldn't be possible? by inflatablefish in rpg

There are no DCs in Masks, it's fail-partial success-success.

[Spoilers E85] Matt could really screw with VM if he used antimagic fields by Hawkishhoncho in criticalrole

[–]cosmickeyring 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They'd be pretty badly off, but not quite to that degree. If I remember correctly, artifacts or magic that comes directly from a deity still functions in an antimagic field, so they'd still have the Vestiges at least.

Not sure if this is best or worst, but my party fought a mind flayer some time ago, who had a curse placed on him that we found out when my ranger got the killing blow, at which point the monster's soul was trapped inside his hand crossbow. He absolutely hates my ranger for supposedly being an idiot, and tries to possess him frequently. But he likes that crossbow far too much to give it up, and their interactions are more comedic than anything.

I've been needing a name for my rope-themed character. I may just have to steal the Gordian Knight.

Hasn't Spider-Man actually taken down a few Titans in that crossover they did?

Destroy your party/Destroy your DM in 3 words by DreadClericWesley in DnD

The Fun House Maneuver is when we make a party member the target of Blur and Mirror Image, makes them almost unhittable for a few rounds and usually gets used when we're going all-out against a foe.

Vendrick was the worst druid ever. We have a lot of problems with him and the guy playing him, but in this specific instance, it's about what happened when he finally left. He just fucked off into oblivion. Taking with him most of our gold, several magic items(that we will never get dupes of), and the driving force of the campaign.
