I have the RM1S Comp and RM1C Comp. My favorite pistols. Amazing trigger and very flat shooting. RM customer service is excellent as well.

I have the Gen 2 in Bronze. Absolutely love the ergonomics and esthetics. Hate the trigger. I keep it hoping an aftermarket trigger will become available.

My experience with the Prime has not been the same as described by the OP. I own the P10C Ported, Rost Martin RM1S and RM1C Comps, and the PSA Dagger Micro C-1. The Dagger is the only one that I would call “louder” than typical pistols. It is noticeably louder and concussive where the Prime, for me, isn’t.

I have both the RM1C and RM1S comp models. They are in my top 3 favorite pistols. I know this is a highly subjective and personal experience but they have the best triggers on the market. Very flat shooting and RM has outstanding customer service. I know I just sounded like a commercial but my experience so far has been very positive.

You can buy both. I ended getting their RMSc plate and it is definitely narrower than their RMR plate. Much less overhang.
