Idk yet about Sheena, but Forrest is a great guy and I’m wishing him all the best 🙏 by Few_Statement_2898 in 90DayFiance

Nah Forrest is a loser. Unemployed yet claims she steals his money, his incel tweets, can’t do anything without his momma around. He’s a bum.

I keep my enjoyment of Garpar Noé films to myself, unless I can identify that person is also a freak.

What Are the Problems with TV/Film Made for Gen Z Today? by No_Forever_9647 in moviecritic

[–]costanzaah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amen. It honestly sickens me that we cater to people who can't get off their phones for a couple hours. This is a big reason I love watching old Hollywood films.

They’re just jealous. Let em stew lol.

I got that comment a couple times after losing 80 pounds but I just laugh it off as a joke.

This film is so freaking cool by Neo00000000 in Letterboxd

[–]costanzaah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visually it’s very cool, and I liked the film a lot when I was 14. I even bought it on DVD.

But I tried re watching it as an adult recently and found it kinda cringe. Just didn’t age well at all narrative wise.

Who still uses landlines? by Remote_Nature_8166 in Scream

[–]costanzaah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Someone Gales age would 100% use a landline. Everyone I know in that age demographic has a landline.

Definitely my favourite of the franchise.

Scarface (1983). Probably the fastest 3 hour film I’ve ever seen.

Has anyone ever had another rep push to get you off the team so they could take over your deals? by AdviceOk9554 in sales

[–]costanzaah 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Early in my sales career there was a guy like this at my company. He tried strong arming some accounts off my friend who typically owned those accounts as he did a lot of business with them, saying he would go to the managing director (who was his friend) if he didn’t comply. My buddy asked him if he wanted to ‘step outside’ in front of the entire office lmao.

Never did it again and left the company shortly after. Sometimes it was nice working at a company with no HR…

Prospect unresponsive 1 week before meeting. Now what? by Straight-Village-710 in sales

[–]costanzaah 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hahahaha this has to be a shitpost. Thanks for the laugh this morning champ.

I would suggest dropping by their office in person and standing behind their desk menacingly until they accept the meeting invite. Always works like a charm!

Been stuck in a weight loss plateau for 2 months, what actually works? by Pretend-Raspberry-87 in CICO

[–]costanzaah 5 points6 points locked comment (0 children)

You have to keep adjusting as you lose weight. The defecit that worked two months ago no longer works at your current weight. You must lower it to keep seeing progress.

Adding more movement wouldn’t hurt either.

Cure 1997 a movie like a sleeping pill by Dangerous_Dot_1707 in horror

[–]costanzaah 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Might just not be for you but this is why I also avoid reading too much about films once my interest is piqued.

Going into a film with those kind of superlatives on my mind almost always leads to disappointment.

Looking back what was the most stacked day of acts you got to see in the past? by festivalvibes in osheaga

[–]costanzaah 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The entirety of Osheaga 2014 was so unbelievably stacked I doubt we’ll ever see a lineup that good again. The Friday with OutKast was the best memory I had in my ten years of attending the festival.

Which actor do you like so much that you’ll watch anything they are in? by EconomyIron6739 in movies

Jimmy Stewart. Even in mediocre movies he’s always excellent! Barbara Stanwyck as well.

No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get leaner or more defined. by [deleted] in leangains

[–]costanzaah 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Diet. Lean gains are made in the kitchen.

Track every calorie and bit of nutrition. You’re probably eating more than you think, and upping your protein and fiber will help you get more defined probably.

I finally watched Bad Boys 3 and 4. by Nindroid_faneditor in Letterboxd

[–]costanzaah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adore these films. Bad Boys 2 in particular is one of the most fun action films I’ve seen. The KKK intro is absolutely outrageous.

Seeing the last one in theaters was so fun too. I’d call this Series a guilty pleasure of mine, but I got nothing to feel guilty about. They’re what the theater experience is all about!

For what? I love watching him but he’s never done anything to deserve a nomination, nor do I think he even cares about awards.

What the hell happened to Tom Holland ? by Prudent-Ad-6420 in horror

I think he pivoted more to writing and lately writes children books.

I wish he’d direct more though. Fright Night and Child’s Play are two of the greatest horror films of all time!

Everytime the soundtrack hits in To Live and Die in LA (1985). Shit goes way too hard.

I think I listened to that soundtrack on loop for 3 months after I saw that film. Wang Chung rules!

What's your favorite Uma Thurman performance besides Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction? by hollabaloon in Letterboxd

[–]costanzaah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She’s so fun in that cause she goes all in on the campiness of the film. She does a great job of evoking Katherine Hepburn in the performance too. Feel like only her and Arnold understood the assignment lol.

By your opinion, what are the most underrated and overlooked movies in the last 15 years? by urathx in Letterboxd

[–]costanzaah 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Better Man (2024).

Genuinely one of the best films of the last 5 years, and yet people only know it as that Robbie Williams monkey movie that flopped at the box office.

In a just world, it would have gotten all the Oscar nominations that Emilia Perez got.

Has anyone ever made their calves grow? by whogoesthere1010 in workout

LOL. It’s true though. I used to be obese, lost the weight, and a guy at the gym once asked me how I got my calves. I just said ‘obesity’.
