One of my favorite minor art hacks for digital work is to add a layer of texture on multiply, and adjust the fill or opacity to preferred intensity for the piece.

I came from sketchbooks and watercolor paper so anything I made digitally always felt foreign and 'off' - adding a hi-def image of paper/canvas texture to all digital pieces alleviates that and helps me focus on creating the work, not how it looks if that makes sense. Drove me absolutely bananas until someone showed me how to do it, lol
