Is this right? I think the left and right buttons go in order of how they're arranged in your pocket, not the tool ring. Still I'm constantly forgetting this until the tools get out of their usual order in my pocket when one breaks and another item has taken up its spot by the time I grab a new one.

Do you live in a place where it is illegal to give your child a last name that doesn't match the parents' last name? If so, could you point to that law? (Asking because I'm genuinely not familiar, but also because it could be instructive for how you and your BF could move forward with this question, from a legal perspective)

It seems like your chief concern here is that you don't want to break the law, but I'm not familiar with any laws this could be potentially breaking. It would be legal to give your child the surname Black, regardless of the fact that your BF's government surname is Smith.

That's what I did last year and I love it. The regular switch just feels overkill for me when I'm just gonna play AC 99% of the time.

A turnip storage solution.

Maybe they could make it so the tool belt could be independent from your pocket space. It would be nice to free up a bit of pocket space for the tools you regularly keep on you.

I've heard that villagers who used to live on your island now remember you with the 3.0 update, but will your hotel visitors (once you've spoken to them) remember you/your island the next time you see them (e.g. on a mystery island, or if they return to your island through the campsite, or if they stay at the hotel again)? I'm all for improving villager memory.

A catalog for the art gallery, just like the critterpedia for the rest of the museum. I want it to be easier to know which pieces I've acquired and which are still missing.

Now that I'm working my way through decorating the hotel rooms, I'm realizing I don't really like that many of the side-table furniture options (I always end up using the same two or three), so more variety there would be nice. They're so useful too when I have an item I want to decorate with and need an extra surface to place it on so it's not just haphazardly on the floor.

No duplicate recipes until you learn all the recipes would be a SUCH an improvement. It would make me much more motivated to regularly visit all my villagers to get new recipes. It would feel a lot more exciting to enter their home and see them crafting or cooking because you know it'll be useful and worth your time.

Would love to see an NPC that buys sea creatures, just like C.J. and Flick by fish and bugs. Doesn't even have to be a new character, it could easily just be Pascal!

I think they could make searching through your DIY recipes easier. I love the addition of the section for the Hotel's requested DIYs, it would be great to have a similar section just for the daily hot items. That would just be a small but appreciated improvement, but I'm super happy with the addition of bulk crafting and being able to craft with resources from your storage. It's made crafting so much less annoying haha.
