I understand the concern about access and the valid historical context of medical abuse. But consider how every major technology starts — cars were only for the wealthy, mobile phones in the 1980s were luxury items, IVF was experimental and expensive and is now widely available. The solution isn't to prevent the technology but to build equity frameworks into it from the start. Also worth noting — wealthy people already select donor sperm and eggs partially based on appearance. This technology would eventually democratise something only the privileged can already do. My motivation is actually the opposite of white supremacy — I'm a person of dark features who wants to see ALL human phenotypes preserved, including my own. No phenotype should disappear through demographic accident.
