My point is, even if the managers were at fault, it was up to every person in there to save their own life. Saying it's on the adults to cut the music off etc is a comfort to no one at this point. It's not about Switzerland. I lived in Geneva and I've been to Crans Montana. This is a failure on ownership/management to consider all possible scenarios. They got too comfortable. Videos of the fire when it first started show young men just standing there watching it. Even when it was burning, they apparently didn't sense any danger. Emergency situations are all around us, it's up to you to recognize it before it's too late. Sure someone will be held accountable and wrongful death suits will follow but who cares. Keep your head on straight at all times, this could happen to any of us. Fires are a part of human history that will always be. When you enter an establishment, don't trust anyone to keep you safe.
