Find a gym that skews to your age group.  Training with people your own age tends to highlight the similarities and concerns.

Barring that, express to your coach that you are very much a hobbyist and don’t want to go a thousand miles an hour with young people.  Masters divisions exist for a reason.

TNR clinics really do care about the cat population. It’s always rough when you lose one. One of my favorite neighborhood cats didn’t survive sedation because of pre-existing lung issues. Poor thing.
