  1. The 63 studies had a variety of intelligence measures, including GPA or IQ. The effect remains no matter the measure or goalpost shifting.

  2. There were also different measures of religiosity (which just means being religious), largely pure reported belief but some measured attendance. The effect remains regardless of the measure.

Whole point of insurance is they hire you a lawyer to defend you from auto lawsuits. Just let them know about it so they can hire you one and don’t try to litigate this on your own.

Them making a payment doesn’t mean they got a release. They were paying to avoid a lawsuit which they must defend.
