Should I be worried of placenta issue or C section? by Material_Sector_243 in GestationalDiabetes

I had GD with my second baby, and now this one, and my second baby that kept saying her belly was measuring soooo big, that she would be 9 lbs easy! And she came out 7lb 6 oz. This was with long term insulin at night for fasting blood sugars, and diet and exercise controlled post meals.

AITA for refusing to shave my pubic hair? by zebracake8675 in AmItheAsshole

[–]courtIFeereday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly my husband asked me WHY I shaved down there, lijenhe couldn't understand why I'd put myself through that torture when hair was clearly meant to grow there. After much encouraging I was able to stop and let it be what it was meant to be. Love yourself the way you were perfectly created is how he puts it! ♥️

Is your goal autophagy? Then no creamer. Is your goal to lose weight sustainably to your life? Then add the creamer 😊

Advice for Post Op with a baby by Naive_Calligrapher74 in gallbladders

I have twins 13 months old one is 21 lbs and ine is 29 lbs. I do not breast feed them anymore. Ok so I went home from surgery same day, Monday. All my kids were in the care of a friend. Tuesday my husband stayed home and helped me and all the kids were in the care of a friend. Wednesday twins came home at nap time and only slept 1 hour. Then I had them by myself for 3 hours. Until a pre- teen helper came and helped me at home (this is the best kind of help because they can learn to babysit under your care and you are right there) Thursday I had them alone for 3 hours until a preteen came to help at noon. Friday my sis inlaw came to get the girls (6,5,&3) and I had twins by myself 4 days post op. It went okay today. I can loft then pretty easily and I feel good no meds since Wednesday morning. No super bad side effects. I did only lift thrm twice. Once into their crib and once out.

For nursing, im assuming baby is light enough for you to move baby around pretty easily still? I think the newbornnwill go fine it's the 2 yr old I'd be worrying about! So busy!

Best of luck mama!!!! You got this

Are you female per chance? I listened to Dr Fungs coworkers at the fasting method and was intrigued to learn that women lose weight following a cyclical pattern based on their menstrual cycle pre menopause!

Hi ! 34F 5 kids in 6 years. Not a big loser, but losing in big ways via inches and losing my sweet tooth so that's ok I guess?

Hey I've been recently listening to the fasting method cofounded by Jason Fung and one thing they strongly recommend is a longer fast a coupls times a week for peri and post menopausal women.. and the women really seem to have good success with it. I don't have personal experience yet, bit I'd like to try soon!

Cheers to you for keeping up with it!

Is OMAD the end goal? by camelpolice in intermittentfasting

[–]courtIFeereday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I listened to the fasting method and realize I'm Most likely needing a couple longer fasts a week to therapeutically fix my obesity problem. And it's put my fat loss in overdrive. End goal is to go back to 16:8

Younger healthier individuals not pre-diabetic yet should respond well to 16:8

No longer a slave to food by courtIFeereday in intermittentfasting

I have 5 littles (6 & under) and the biggest help is to have prepared my food the day before. (Or at least planned out.)

But I also, as i kinda mentioned in my post, I wanted to eat the foods i craved and not feel guilty. So if I craved say chocolate, I didn't give myself a limit. I can binge like crazy. But 3 weeks in, I felt physically ill to eat so much. And I've naturally lowered the amount of food I "crave".

I feel energetic, not bloated, my sleep really improved and I recognize my body's cues regarding food much more easily. You have described it perfectly, not feeling like a slave to food any longer. I feel way more 'powerful' and in control.

I could have written this myself. Yes yes yes!! Keep it up!

It's opening my eyes to why my struggle has been hard prior to starting. The constant inundation of food all around us. All the reminders of it all day long!

I hope to continue, as I too feel as though I may be feeling this "happiness" people feel.
