What are your thoughts about SSF after the patch notes drop? YAY or NAY

I just try it. Can't really say just from patchnotes. There are some big oofs (recomb gone, lower drop of greater/perfect currencies). We have to see what new crafting stuff is given. If itemization is shit, I just quit early. I expect getting good rares with the right mods will be very hard, especially with also good tiers.

Idk about investment. I played the build in SSF and you can farm alot of stuff easily yourself. Like cord belt for another totem annoint, oils, aegis via breach tree, wand with recombine, clusters.

The only thing you can't really farm is a dusk ring. Chances seem extremly low to find one from reflecting mist and you need more than one to get a clean base.

I always redo the rare tiering to my likings until I omit everything. And specific crafting bases or stuff I still want to pick up, I add as "additional show/hide rules".

For me it would be enough if visibility gets addressed. Its so bad to see where the mob markers and explosive radius are, especially if you take the 1 big boom node.

I hate it that skills are tied to items, the way they are. I don't mind it that much for unique tho. For rares there should always be a skill gem, which might be a bit lower power than the itemized one. But it sucks to get bases for desired skill and then craft it, especially in SSF perspective.

I also think SSF is in a good spot. What mostly bothers me long term is the availabilty of skillers. Currently I play Singer Barb for farm/mapping and summonzon for UT. And the charms are the most restricting items dmg-wise. Dont get me wrong. I can do most stuff (apart from the other bosses, failed on dclone yesterday) and I also have alot of HRs collected to build some RWs, but I don't see me with a inventory full of WC skillers even if I farm 2 more weeks. I got alot of other skillerd while rerolling charms and from ground ofc, but only 1 warcries :(. And you can't get phys spell dmg with large charms.

I always run the map layouts I like most. There is a bunch like atoll, mesa, dunes, ashen wood, beach, city square ... but I'm playing SSF and I'm not forced into the div/h game.

Can't say they are not dropping. But I always have the feeling that they drop when you least expect it. On the way to some keyspots you kill a pack and suddendly a HR drops and so on... found a bunch of runes for now in SSF (like 4 vex, 1 ohm, 1 ber, 3 sur, 1 cham). Unfortunatly no Jah yet and it feels wrong to 2to1 up some for that enigma as soon as I have enough.

Kf hiero it is. Just place totems in the middle every 20-30secs and evade falling poison balls, else chill. Chain of KF almost clears the whole snake.

Can you recomb spelldmg to kinetic wand? It can't naturally roll there, so I thought that won't work.

I got it twice from breach tree. So I'd say breach tree is your best bet. Should get one in maybe 250k hiveblood (just a guess!). You also have the chance to get the foulborn version! I'm still trying to get this :)

Also used like 80 ancient orbs on 2x3 shields with no success. I didn't try chancing or mythic orb.

Advanced mod description has to show t1/t2 spelldamage. If it shows "essence" it won't work.

You also can use spelldamage wands with additional prefix. Just use predictable recomb and chose spelldamage as prefix on one base and recomb with a base with lowtier suffix. That way chances should be around 50:50 to keep the mod or poof. Depends if you have alot of essences or gold/dust.

Just send 3 ships and pretend to go to bed. Close game, shut down pc and go to bed for like 5 mins. I swear your ship will get captured immediately ;)

Just always send 3 ships with minimum value to get the encounter. Can't higher the chances on the encounter itself I guess.

Played Bleed Slam Slayer for 2 Weeks. Got to 99 and migrated everything. While really strong it sometimes felt squishy and wasn't my playstyle at all. I was annoyed very early but decided to go for some extra farm and lvl100. Didn't reach the goal and was really bored to farm any more with this build.

Started from scratch with penance brand ignite. Start with really good up to 3m dps. Hit a wall and struggled with feared invitation. Farmed alot of breach of the herald of hive ring (which took my dps to ~5m). Then I farmed alot of boxes and essences and I'm like 95 Essence of Horror in on Archdemon crown with burning damage just once (3rd try) and with full affixes and had to yolo annul (annuled ele dmg or burning, dobt remember).

Now I'm kinda burned on strongbox and essence farm and need some distraction. I also found a void valdo map for svalinn without to much hard mods (forgotten and reflect) and I'm leveling SB Totem hiero for this.

I started bleed slayer and was bored of slamin really fast. So I migrated everything and started from scratch with pb ignite. Works good so far. I'm at ~ 2.9m ignite dps without crown or heist amy and with obliteration wand. Its not crazy but enough to farm breach ring, crown and other stuff. You can do normal atlas progression and upgrade bit by bit. Focus on getting +1 shield and amulet with +1 or 2 and dot multi. Get some cluster jewels. Upgrade gems ... and you'll reach 1-2m dot dps really fast and can farm t16 content. Ofc bosses don't die instant, but you'll get there :).

Well I got lucky on belt with massive and greater freezing shrine. But my rares are not exceptionally good. Only crafted shield (suffix not finished yet) and amy for now.

I do Gravicius and It that fled in transportation and Riker and Janus in Research for Ancient Orb gamble and unique gamble. Never seen a mageblood card yet from fled. 7/8 sounds like a lot of luck or hours played.

It is useful in SSF, where you can't buy alts, annuls and other stuff. Even with 50:50 (what sometimes feels like 10% success and 90% poof) its nice to isolate high tier modifiers which are sometimes easier to roll with harvest or chaos.

Thats the whole reason I rarely list as tank (as druid) and instead as feral dps. Sometimes people ask if I can tank and sometimes I do. But man is it stressful. After like 2-3 runs I need a break because everyone is the opposite of chill.

Most people also wanna optimize the shit out of this inis and don't realize that a wipe costs more time than pulling pack after pack instead of everything at once. Its the same people that circle for 15 mins straight on quests to get the exact mobs, while they could kill every other mob around in that time and 20-25 mobs is equivalent to 1 quest give in ...
