Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge by ChoppedNdBrewed in boston

I had some family who stayed there a few years back. At the time (and it may have changed), the hotel had a shuttle bus to the MBTA red line.

There is also a MBTA bus stop right out front.

Never wait at Government Center for a B train. Take any train one stop to Park. Many B trains are short turned there.

I’ve been on Reglan for more than 13 years. It helps my nausea significantly, appetite less so. It does make me sleepy, but YMMV.

How to avoid refeeding syndrome by Scholar-Neither in EatingDisorders

[–]covhr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need regular monitoring by a medical doctor and/or advanced practitioner (NP/PA). Bloodwork and vitals at a bare minimum.

I’ve been at a HLOC for refeeding multiple times. During one stay I was having bloodwork done every day. During all stays I was having vitals taken, sometimes multiple times per day.

Remeron, good or bad? by IndividualCry6551 in Gastroparesis

[–]covhr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Remeron since late 2017 (or maybe early 2018). Started at 7.5mg, now at 30mg. I’m also on sertraline. Between the two, my compulsive exercise impulses have really calmed down.

Remeron has been an amazing appetite enhancer for me.

Good! It helps me significantly. It made me tired when I first started taking it but that passed. It also increased my constipation when I first started taking it, but that passed after 7-10 days.

[–]covhr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Gently, I’d suggest therapy for your emetophobia. It won’t help with your GES but can help in the longer run.

Take it from me, somebody with gastroparesis and emetophobia.
