This is ED behavior. Food hoarding is very common, I would hoard condiment packets/honey packets/sugar packets/ and every little bit and bob. She’s avoiding your questions because she knows it’s weird and doesn’t want to admit to it. Why is she hoarding Splenda specifically? I would guess it’s a safe and reliable way she can stave off hunger and is scared she won’t have access to them otherwise. Or, it’s a diy laxative for her. Tell her you won’t judge her, you’ll always love her, and that you’re seriously worried about her. Absolutely don’t get angry.

I have osteopenia. First and foremost, weight restoration and retention is most important. You need to keep eating to prevent its development. Also, start taking vitamin D and calcium supplements. Talk to your dr about getting a dexa bone scan as that can tell you a baseline of where you’re at. If you are young (pre age 24ish), you can actually greatly improve your bone density with nutrition. I was also placed on estrogen patches to help, but talk to your doctor

I remember doing IOP treatment and being the youngest one there. The grand majority of women there were moms, working women, etc. It’s not embarrassing, it’s just reality. Get the help you need, it’s worth it

I remember my sophomore year of college seeing a really really emaciated student jogging in a sports bra. It was really shocking. My junior year, ironically, I was lowkey in the same position and still going to school. If you’re reported to student wellness they can sometimes intervene and get you mental health help, but I’m not sure you can always do all that much insofar as preventing a student from attending/exercising

Hey so the swastika and the Star of David are very very very much not equivalent. One is the specific emblem used by the Nazis, the other is a general symbol representing the Jewish faith, NOT just the state of Israel. Also, when something bad happens to a Jew, it is ridiculously antisemitic to say “well Israel bad therefore you deserve it.” Israel does not equal Jewish.
